Breakfast or lunch can be enjoyed there in this cozy restaurant. Service is attentive and friendly by the pleasant ladies. We like especially the omelets and oatmeal to start the day. Others rave about the pork belly sandwich. In case they are too full one can walk down Linden to Essaus which also has similar wholesome food.

After eating breakfast at Esau's three times in six days, we decided to shake things up and try the Worker Bee. We were promptly greeted and seated with our orders being taken shortly thereafter. But it was a good 35-40 minutes until we got our food. Way too long for a breakfast joint to make you wait for simple food.... More

Breakfast for 4. One blueberry milk shake, two breakfast burritos and corn beef potatoes with eggs. Selected the jalapeño bacon and added avocado for the burritos. All good. The coffee was good and the waitress was there each time to refill. It was a hot day. 80 plus. The place does not have air conditioning and it was getting uncomfortable... More

This is the best place for breakfast. The owners are transplanted New Yorkers and not only is the food the best but the suggestions they give you is terrific as well. They only do breakfast and I guess brunch but it is the best I have had Ina long time.

Home made specialities - great coffee. Casual and friendly - right on Linden and short walk to the beach.

We had breakfast here - couldn't have been happier with the food. The owner of this sweet spot is a gem. He's passionate about the food, and treating each customer with care. We highly recommend the Worker Bee Cafe and encourage all who visit the area to visit!

On a beautiful Sunday morning in Carpenteria we had breakfast at the Worker Bee. French toast with spicy bacon was a great way to start our day.Our waitress Marie was awesome too!

Our son-in-law suggested we have lunch there before leaving for home. We found the food to be very good. The menu offered many choices with a variety. The service was prompt and VERY pleasant. TRY EATING THERE!

We recently ate at this place and enjoyed it very much. First of all, it is a cafe that is not fancy by any means. It reminded us a lot of a small town cafe one would find in the midwest. That is meant as a compliment, as small town midwestern cafes have great food. To add to the quaintness... More
