Four of us stopped by for lunch, we had BLTs and burgers. All were tasty and nicely prepared. We liked sitting the benches behind the restaurant, the tables are far apart from each other and it's nice location.
Great custom service, friendly and the quality of the food was excellent. Had the Crab Egg's Benedict and it was wonderful. Everyone in the family was happy with their breakfast choices. Great outdoor dining area with fast service.
We have been coming here for as long as I can remember...and can't wait to get back every time.
I brought some friends to Tahoe, and they wanted to eat breakfast here every day!
The friendly Old Tahoe man is the owner...and you will see...his wife there as well.
Get the pancakes with something...you won't regret it!
It is a lot of food, but you can substitute the potatoes for fruit...and that will make you feel as if you have saved at least some calories.
You can thank me later...just go.More
Wait staff awesome and food pretty good. However, the folks that run the restaurant may need anger counselling or at to least spend a little more time around little kids & new parents. Our 3 year old unfortunately had a massive tantrum resulting in her...throwing her pancakes & syrup all over the carpeted floor (prob not best idea in a diner that presumably caters to families) whilst our 1 year old naturally spilled quite a bit of food. We picked up most of the 1 year old but missed some of the pancake pieces (parents had had 2-4hrs sleep the night before) and obviously syrup hard to clean up. We left a tip of over 20% and personally apologized to our wait staff. As we were about to pull out of the parking lot a lady, who I presume runs the place, walked over to our car and began yelling at us incl. the following snippets: "you are not welcome back here", "it is a f**king disgrace the mess you left" & "I should walk you back in and make you pay for new carpets" Our kids were literally taught the f-word that day :(
To all families with small kids - recommend avoiding this place unless you enjoy your morning coffee with a side of intense anger & bitterness!More
OPO Never fails me! Food is SO good, service is just as good! Love this place, talk about having comfort in knowing every meal will be as good as the last one! Thank you OPO for feeding me and my family for the 25 years...we have lived here!More
Great breakfast spot! We drove over on Saturday from IV and had a delicious breakfast. Cute little establishment with faaaaabulous customer service. Gio & Tania were bubbly, warm & fun! Great service w/huge smiles! I really appreciated how awesome they were and how they went...above and beyond making our 1st visit wonderful. The french toast with bananas was yummyyyy! We also got the green chili chicken sandwich - it was a good solid sandwich with crunchy awesome fries! Ohhhhhh and the topper – the smoothie (it was the #1 on their list of 6)…oh sooooooooooooo so good!! If you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with really fun wonderful staff, look no further :)More
this is 2nd time here and still, love it. We were seated fairly quickly, and got our drinks right away, but had about a 15-minute wait for the order to be taken. The meal was served pretty quickly. Their omelets are wonderful and the pancakes...are huge. All the food tasted great. They are very popular and usually quite busy, so plan on a wait. We weren't in a hurry so didn't mind too much.More
Fun place, some bar seating, crowded but worth the wait. Friend ordered Monte Cristo and I ordered Veggie Jo Scramble. We both shared, best of both worlds. Owner Frank was awesome. Friendly and hands on, helping where needed. Will definitely return when in town.
We heard about this cafe from a local in Incline Village and drive out for Breakfast, and we are so glad we did!!! Great service, amazing traditional breakfast, and super friendly service! I would highly recommend stopping in, we will definitely be back!
