My wife and I agree that this is the best ambiance in Carmel if you are looking for a quiet and romantic place to dine for a date night or anniversary dinner. They have a cozy fireplace inside that warms up the place and makes it feel very special. I ordered the crab ravioli and WOW! I ended up ordering... More

We stopped in here for lunch and sat on the small patio which was a little too sunny but was beautiful. Service is great and the pizzas are delicious!

We ate here last night. The new name is Dali. We chose Manzoni Pinot Noir which was amazing. Highly recommend it. I ordered the breaded eggplant and fresh mozzarella as an appetizer. The presentation was lovely with 4 layers of eggplant and cheese. The eggplant was room temperature/ to cool which is not what I expected. It was bland. Both... More

Popped in here on a whim for a casual dinner and enjoyed a great meal. With great wine of course. Prices seemed reasonable / normal for this tourist town and portions ideal. Had fun chatting with the owner and our fun server too. Lost a star due to cold, unimpressive "minestrone" which was really just vegetables and a light broth,... More

The ambiance was nice and cozy. The wine racks and fireplace made the restaurant seem less Italian and more fusion. We came for the food. The bread was nice and warm, the tomato dip was delish. For the appetizer, we had the mushrooms, which had a slightly sweet taste, but was adequate. For the main course, we had the spinach... More

We were trying to have a late lunch and after looking around for a bit found this place and, as the menu pleased us, decided to try it out. The food took a long time but it was pretty well prepared and tasty. When it comes to service I guess we were the lucky ones that afternoon as our server... More

Our destination restaurant was closed, so we went a little bit up the block and were coaxed into trying Nico by an employee that was standing on the sidewalk. They were very slow and he was obviously trying to get more people inside. As we looked at the menu, we noticed that the prices were on the steep side, but... More

If your visiting Carmel or passing through the crab ravioli with champagne sauce & scallops is with the stop alone. When you are finish enjoy all the wonderful gallery's and shops in town.

I have never had a bad lunch at this restaurant. There is a free parking lot at San Carlos and 8th and a paid parking lot under the Carmel Plaza with entrance on San Carlos. Street parking is difficult and tickets are commonly written out. Handicapped can park on the street with no time limitations with a handicapped parking permit... More

Smallish restaurant (aren't they all in Carmel?) with great authentic Mediterranean flavors. If you want a show get the Saganaki - flaming cheese that is delicious. We were a big party so some small errors (like no feta on a greek salad and no pita/bread despite asking multiple times for appetizers) but doesn't take away from the overall experience. I... More
