My wife and I had such a great time in Monterey and Carmel in 2014, we came back for round 2. :-) While meandering around Carmel, we happened upon Patisserie Boissiere and liked what we saw on the menu, so we decided to have lunch. The restaurant is decorated very tastefully and the atmosphere is cozy and warm. We were... More

We found this restaurant on trip advisor after we tried to get into a couple others that were booked. My husband and I loved this place. We were there for dinner and both had one of the Specials - a turkey dish with Au Gratin potatoes and it was melt in your mouth delicious! We did not have dessert because... More

Nice little French restaurant and bakery. Had the lamb shank and sauted shrimp. The lamb was fall apart tender and the shrimp was cooked well but needed just a little more seasoning for flavor. Worth coming back to.

I had only 1/2 of the pear tart, but it was arguably one of the best pieces of pastry I have ever had. If I lived in Carmel, I would become obese.

Carmel has 2 hour free parking just out side. We had two lunches and two drinks for $34 both very nice. It is a nice place quiet and fast service.

Stumbled upon this small restaurant around lunch time. Delicious meals, wife with perfect fresh delicious Cobb salad and a lunch special of seafood crepes and white bean soup for myself. Wonderful light Apple tart for dessert...not too sweet! Attentive and friendly service even when they got very busy! Will return here on future visits to Carmel.

The location of the restaurant is really nice, and we really liked the town. Also the restaurant interior was cute and quaint. The food was hit or miss. The one meal was amazing and the other was just okay. The service was okay, but we needed to wave them over. Overall it was pretty good, but it is expensive so... More

First had lunch in this charming little French patisserie twenty years ago and the high quality food and friendly service that has brought us back several times over the years is still very much in evidence. Recently had dinner here on a chilly August evening and the cozy fireplace and friendly staff made for a perfect return visit. Soup, Duck... More

Description
A relaxing and comforting venue modeled after a European chateau where tables are thoughtfully spaced and fresh flowers, fireplace, candles and soothing musical notes are integral part of the dining experience. The ambience sets the tone for French country food served with a great deal of care for detail, and pastries baked daily on premises. Dining room is available for private dinner parties.
