The service was average/good but the food was wonderful. At the end of the evening, we asked if we could split the bill 3 ways with our credit cards. We each got a bill, not itemized, and though it seemed a high, it had been a memorable birthday get together and not wanting to ruin a nice evening, we paid... More

My husband and I stopped in on Saturday for lunch. It was our first time there and we were very impressed. It's a beautiful place-big windows overlooking the greenery outdoors, you can see the pizza oven blazing and their cured meats hanging/aging in the back. The bread with olive oil (with mild chunks of olives in the oil) was warm,... More

Luca has changed. Almost everything. The vibe is dead. The food is forgettable. The pizza still good. Prices high without return of quality. They charge for bread now out of desperation. The wait staff are cool, just moving through the motions. I suspect internal management issues. The best dish is the baked lemon rosemary chicken. Prepare to grow old while... More

Ate here with family and golfing friends over the weekend. 3rd time here. Good food, great cured means for Antipasta. Like the location and atmosphere. Excellent home made desserts. Highly recommended and they can take larger than normal parties there.

OMG! The Burrata and a glass of Barberra. HEAVEN! My husband golfs, I roam Carmel and eat. That's vacation! This is one of my favorite lunches between shopping and wandering. Othe other food is great, but if you know the buttery, olive oil topped goodness of Burrata, you must check this one out.

We had the best meal in our 17-day trip to California at this place. And afterwards felt sorry we did not have other meals there....Our waiter was Romanian, so a little 'latin' influence surfaced in our exchange - at least in respect to language. The food was something else! Totally Italian in flavor and looks, delicious. We had great ambience,... More

Great fresh modern Italian, so refreshing not to have something drowned in sauces which seems an American thing to do.. Delicious food, nice wine & a good atmosphere. The best meal we had on our recent 4 week trip to the USA.

This place was at one time our go-to place for good Italian food and great service. I am sad to report that our Valentines Day dinner with friends there was a big disappointment. The food was less than memorable and the service was indifferent. I had noticed the downward slide an past visits but kept waiting for a turnaround. It... More

Had dinner at Luca last night. Wonderful ambiance, great menu, our duck was delicious. Our enjoyment of the evening was hampered by a waitress who forgot our sparkling water, forgot to bring the correct cutlery for our meal, forgot to order the potatoes we requested with our duck, and then made us coffee that was far too cold and had... Luca is a good spot for anyone, but is great for those who enjoy salami and other pork products. Starting a meal with antipasti and good wine or beer always is relaxing and gets everyone in a good mood. The menu from there is varied with excellent pastas, short ribs and a wonderful double cut pork chop. Service is friendly... More
