Had dinner at Luca last night. Wonderful ambiance, great menu, our duck was delicious. Our enjoyment of the evening was hampered by a waitress who forgot our sparkling water, forgot to bring the correct cutlery for our meal, forgot to order the potatoes we requested with our duck, and then made us coffee that was far too cold and had... Luca is a good spot for anyone, but is great for those who enjoy salami and other pork products. Starting a meal with antipasti and good wine or beer always is relaxing and gets everyone in a good mood. The menu from there is varied with excellent pastas, short ribs and a wonderful double cut pork chop. Service is friendly... More

We purposely went on Super Bowl Sunday, so the place was quiet, which was perfect for our group. We had a lot of attention. Our server Dane, recommended a great wine to enjoy and we couldn't have been more pleased. If you go, always order the salami plate. So yummy.

We were recommended to try this restaurant but were not impressed. Food was mediocre at best and the service was unfortunately, not good at all. The restaurant management seem to think that guests in Carmel are suckers and do not care about what they are served but we had meals in a number of other restaurants in Carmel during our... More

We dined at this restaurant as it is associated and recommended by the hotel we stayed at. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to the standard of our hotel and we were extremely unhappy about the food and the service at the restaurant. While it was a busy night, this cannot be an excuse for the poor standards of... More

Had a perfect Tuscan lunch shared by three the following was about perfect: insalata misto, fungi pizza, burrata. Service was polite and quick. Food above average for sure. Excellent choice. I'll return for dinner for sure.

Nice lunch with a soup of mushrooms and salad with lots of beets. A little pricy but ok for a holiday weekend with crowds everywhere.  Carmel is a destination, after all.

We pulled in to Carmel, and had no idea where we would eat. We happened to find a parking space right in front of Cantinetta Luca. Checked a few reviews, and decided to try it out. So happy that we did. I had the Bolognese, I think she had a Ravioli. We both were completely satisfied with our meal. We... More

They have a new chef and revised menu. The ingredients are fresh, everything made from scratch.i t really showed. Amazing local vegetables, house made gelatos, fresh, local fish. The steaks were not cooked to order preference. They pride themselves as a steakhouse so this was a surprise. The pork chop dry. Perhaps they could buy a meat thermometer. The dishes... More

My boyfriend booked this wonderful place and I was very surprised, not how good it was, but how he made such a great choice. The food, Buratta and Meats for Apps and the Kansas City Bone in for the Entree were so good. I tried not to eat it all however, it was impossible. The steak was so insane full... More
