Pleasant enough server in pleasant enough surroundings but rather average food...salmon overcooked, veggies coated in butter; OK tuna starter; nice bread; nice wine list. Just not very exciting. Just another so-so dinner.

My wife likes fish, not seafood, and loved the salmon; I had the best crab cocktail ever. Friendly service, excellent food.

Went there for dinner on a Thursday. Busy but no wait. Menu has a variety of dining options. Sand dabs were delicious. Wedge salad was fresh, cold and just as it should be tasty. Wait staff was courteous and very friendly. Priced reasonably for Carmel.

We stumbled across this restaurant when wandering round in the day and booked a table for dinner which was good as it was busy when we arrived. The restaurant is split into two and we asked for a table in the side which has the oyster bar. Our waitress Teresa was amazing, she knew everything about every dish and gave... More

Visited this restaurant with a group of friends. Service was good but I did not really enjoy the paella I ordered.

Went to Flaherty's twice while there, for lunch. Once for oysters and again because we loved it so much the first time. The oysters were AMAZING!!! Again, pet friendly, so that works out well. The food is very, very good and I'd recommend them highly.

Great oysters. We had them raw, barbecued and fried. Dog friendly with outdoor seating. Waiters were very friendly even offered to turn on outdoor heater when it started to get breezy.

Great place for a quick lunch. Delicious clam chowder that tastes like real clams and not potatoes. Nice and quick service. Have been going here for many many years and always had good and fresh seafood.

I LOVE oysters and my wife HATES them. Yet we both love coming back to this charming restaurant any time we are in Carmel. This time we were waited on by Jerad, the son of the owner. He was charming, very helpful on picking the best meal, and always attentive. My wife had the red snapper and I had the... More

Super food, lots of choice and great service. Would recommend booking or you will probably have to wait for a table. Atmosphere was great too. A real buzzing place.

Description
At Flaherty's...Fish is Everything! We know good seafood, we know how to buy it and we know how to prepare it. Unlike most restaurants (even the best of them) where fish is often a secondary item on the menu...at Flaherty's it's all about seafood. Here, you will experience a small town, comfortable, family atmosphere, where quality ingredients and quality preparation come together with quality service. We also include gluten free items in our menu to provide all of our customers with the best service possible. It's who we are...come and experience seafood like it was meant to be.
