It is a nice place for breakfast but don't be in a rush. It was good food and the service is good. Baby bangers are worth the try !

Hubs and I visited this restaurant because our first choice, Katy’s, was closed for vacation. The restaurant was very cozy and we were seated immediately on a Saturday morning. Service was prompt and efficient, but not very friendly. Food was good, but not memorable. Prices were reasonable for the location. Note that this restaurant is composed of two small rooms... More

Good selection of lunch and breakfast (all day!) options. The Kathy Cakes are really good, thick pancakes. My husband had the bagel, lox, and cream cheese platter, and was very satisfied. We also tried the artichoke soup, just cuz. It was ok-- kinda thick, nothing special if you asked me. There was no wait on a Sunday at 11:15. Friendly... More

Just a small restaurant, but very attentive service and great food! The English bangers are really great!

While exploring the streets of Caramel, the Cottage Restaurant was our choice for lunch. Go early, just when it is opening, or you will be in a line up. It is small, quaint, & bustling with activity. The tables are small & placed close together to get as many customers a seat to eat. Their claim to fame is the... More

Been several times. Food is great and good-size portions. Restaurant can be a little noisy and crowded, but it's worth the visit for the expansive menu choices. Staff is busy, but very accommodating.

My wife and I had the opportunity to enjoy The Cottage for breakfast/lunch. It is a family owned business with the food being home cooked recipes. All was fabulous. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is tucked between the shops on Lincoln St. in Carmel. It's not too big but there was no wait when we were there for breakfast. The food was very good and good service. They like to keep your coffee cup full, I like that! My wife had a yummy looking fruit bowl and I had bacon and eggs... More

This is a tiny little place in the heart of Carmel (a few doors off of Ocean Avenue), on Lincoln - very close to the Carmel Bay Company (which is on the corner of Lincoln and Ocean). I visit Carmel at least a half-dozen times each year, and I eat breakfast at The Cottage about 90% of the time. Their... More
