We found a groupon for this restaurant for a 4 course fondue dinner. It started off with salads, then the traditional cheese fondue with apples, bread, cauliflower and broccoli. From there we had chicken and beef to cook in the broth, and followed up with a chocolate fondue. Our server catered to our every whim and we thoroughly enjoyed the... More

The food, the beer, the atmosphere... this place is fantastic! Totally recommend for anyone who misses their time in Germany or Switzerland. We will be back for a Tue/Wed locals menu night!

Decent Swiss-German food, and relatively inexpensive by Carmel standards. Besides fondue, they have good bratwurst and schnitzel. A fun place.

Used a Groupon coupon for a prix fixe fondue dinner. The restaurant is lovely, and you feel like you're in a Swiss village. First course was cheese with bread and veggies, 2nd course was beef and chicken with a broth, final course was chocolate with cookies, fruit and marshmellows. Delicous and more food than we could finish.

I love swiss and german food. I grew up with a number of these dishes. I had the german braut and my SO had the Pork Jaeger. For both of these the red cabbage was excellent. I loved the sauerkraut. However it is expensive. The braut dish was 19.95. Wines were excellent. However I do realize that California resturants price... More

Our family enjoyed typical Swiss hospitality in this very authentic restaurant . The food was lovely and the schnitzel was just as it should be . Finishing off with apple strudel was perfect. We expected snow outside as the experience was perfect .

Finally back in town after about 20 years. LSB gets 5 stars for having fabulous authentic Swiss feel and fair plus amiable service. There is a joke in Switzerland that Swiss German must be the language of heaven (Himmel) because no man can understand it. This is a little slice of Swiss Heaven in Carmel. (Sei is subjunctive) We had... More

Recommended. Very nice Swiss chalet decor. Friendly and efficient service. Food was excellent. I had German brat plate which was ample food. Wife had sand dabs, which she enjoyed as well. Not cheap (bill was $56 with no drinks), but worth it. A bit hard to find. Located on Caramel Valley RD, just off CA 1south of Carmel in a... More

I had relatives visiting from out of town. I had a Groupon coupon for their fondue dinner so we decided to try it. Dinner started with a green salad. It had a nice tangy dressing and the greens were crisp and fresh. We had to ask for everything we needed at least twice. The server was terrible! He brought the... More

I ordered the Pork Schnitzel it was large piece. Also it came red cabbage and Spatzel they both were great. If we get back to Carmel we will go there again. A bit hard to find the Restaurant but worth it.
