Recommended. Very nice Swiss chalet decor. Friendly and efficient service. Food was excellent. I had German brat plate which was ample food. Wife had sand dabs, which she enjoyed as well. Not cheap (bill was $56 with no drinks), but worth it. A bit hard to find. Located on Caramel Valley RD, just off CA 1south of Carmel in a... More

I had relatives visiting from out of town. I had a Groupon coupon for their fondue dinner so we decided to try it. Dinner started with a green salad. It had a nice tangy dressing and the greens were crisp and fresh. We had to ask for everything we needed at least twice. The server was terrible! He brought the... More

Lots of excellent food and wonderful friendly service from Gina. We had the fondue sampler, a lot of food! We started with a delicious salad, followed by a fabulous cheese fondue. The main course was fondue steak and chicken, served with roasted diced potatoes and onions, all delicious! The dessert was a chocolate fondue with fruit and ladyfingers, a great... More

Cool place with a neat Bavarian style theme. Reminded me of my time in Germany. We got the foundo which was good but different than melting pot. Well worth the visit.

On our last night in Carmel we chose this restaurant, close to the Carmel Mission in where we stayed. The menu is varied, German, Italian, maybe French. We enjoyed it all, including the service.

Not a stuffy and formal atmosphere. Tasteful dining for couples yet very family friendly. Every type of Americanized Swiss & German food can be found on the generous menu: Bündnerfleisch, Monterey Sand Dabs, Schnitzel, Bratwurst, soups, salads (local Carmel Valley greens), fondue, spaghetti! And that's just lunch. They have a fantastic website so you can look up the menu and... More

My second time visiting this lovely little restaurant in Carmel. Several hreat fondue option abound including a 4 course tasting menue and several ala carte options such as cheese, meat, seafood and chocolate. A special touch that you can ask for is to have an egg added to the broth after all the meat is eaten and suddenly you have... More

We wanted a light dinner, but the dinner was so "light" we were still hungry when we left, but our wallet was much lighter. We ordered a dinner salad, a bowl of soup (which was a very small bowl) My companion ordered Raclette, an appetizer to be sure, but it was mostly a cut potato with very little cheese melted... More

We had dinner there on a Saturday evening and we love it. First of all, the design of the restaurant is very 'Swiss' you feel that you are in a Alpine cottages which filled with Swiss Décor, cow bills, trophies and flags. The owners wife took our orders and gave us some suggestions. We ordered the two combination Fondues to... More
