We discovered this little gem a few years ago and now we go back every summer. The breakfast in particular is fresh, tasty and generous. I dream of their omelettes all year long; local gooey Monterey Jack cheese, lots of great ham and summer tomatoes, yum! And the patio is a lovely spot to relax and watch the world go... More

After shopping at Pilgrim's Way Bookstore, decided to give Village Corner a try. Glad we did--patio let us watch the foot traffic in Carmel and enjoy the atmosphere. Crab Cakes and Salmon were very good, as was the Greek Salad.

We always love to order 2 different types of dishes or more and then share, family style, so we can enjoy even more new degrees of flavors, cooking styles, settings and such, we had such a good time here for lunch on Sunday after attending the Carmel Mission for mass.

Mainly a fishy restaurant. Of all the meals we had on our two week holiday in California, this was easily the best. We all had a fish dish (sea bass fillet, pistachio salmon) and the quality and presentation of the meals indicated that a proper chef was in the kitchen! Well recommended.

Very good food and service. Traditional American food, plus good Mexican items. One of the few restaurants in the village that stays open all day. Great pancakes, waffles, heuvos rancheros, sandwiches, and sand dabs.

Every meal doesn't have to be a gourmand's dream. It does have to be good, filling and worth the price. We stopped here with our dog for lunch on a Sunday. I had Eggs Benedict with fruit and a side of hash browns. My husband had the Wedge Salad with grilled Hangar steak. Both were excellent. My poached eggs were... More

We ate here on our first night in Carmel and having been travelling for almost 24 hours just wanted something basic, but tasty, and close by (we were staying at The Vagabond Inn and so this is just a 5min walk). We ordered the Flat Iron steak (which was good) and the Chicken Piccata which came floating (well drowning) in... More

We enjoyed the best lunch here by sharing appetizers and I had Pinot Noir - always my wine of choice while my daughter had a marvelous Bellini. We shared a delicious Caesar salad and polenta with the most amazing mushroom sauce, followed by scrumptious desserts. Our waiter was superb and so friendly and the patio was perfect with beautiful flowers... More

Picked this place to eat when we were in Carmel because it looked good and we could sit out side since they had gas heaters and a fire pit. Hade a nice meal/ and a bottle of wine and price was OK but not sure if this was cheap/expensive compared to others in Carmel, but seemed reasonable for the quality... More
