We chose to eat at Mission Ranch because of the owner, Clint Eastwood. We had heard that from time to time he plays jazz on the piano. He didn't show up this night but the man who played jazz was excellent and it made the evening really nice. Watching the sheep grazing outside was an extra plus. How often do... More

Every time we go to Carmel we always have a meal at Mission Ranch. Have never been disappointed by staff, service or food. Great food and lots of outdoor seating overlooking the Carmel river glades and beach. Awesome place, but it does get crowded, so have a drink at the piano bar while you wait.

We visited the Mission Ranch Restaurant with four adults and two teenagers. We sat outside on a slightly windy, chilly day but there were heaters and a fireplace that made it very cozy. We were able to appreciate the California landscape and fresh, local produce and wine. There were foods casual enough for teenagers to enjoy such as an amazing... More

Great spot on the edge of Carmel. We did not have a reservation and called just 2 hours ahead. We got our requested time and a great table on the quiet side of the restaurant. They have a bar and dining area when you enter the restaurant and was told can be a little louder. The restaurant sits on 22... More

Have been here many times and love it every time. Lots of regulars. Sometimes Clint even shows up for an early dinner. The piano bar player on Sunday nights is great. Gets the crowd going...lots of fun!

My family of four (two children 12 and 8) crossed our fingers and hoped to be seated for a Sunday Brunch on arguably one of the busiest weekends in Carmel--the annual Concours d'Elegance at nearby Pebble Beach. Fortunately, due to an earlier morning engagement, we arrived just before last seating at 1:30pm. We walked in and were seated with no... More

Almost every trip to the Monterey area includes a stop at the Mission Ranch for a meal. It's good food, fair prices, has a big outdoor patio (jammed even when it's chilly). The tables are close together so you can preview the menu with a sideways glance and re-decide on your choice. In spite of its touristy atmosphere, there are... More

It's a shame I had to begin this review with the fact that our waiter ignored our table for 30 minutes because the food was actually decent. From the beginning, our waitress was borderline rude and very curt. We aren't demanding or complicated people, and even if we were, there's no excuse to being so detached and negative toward customers.... More

We were warned that there would probably be a long wait for a table at Mission Ranch. However when we arrived the host said that it would be about 15 minutes - great. We had only just ordered our drinks at the bar when our beeper went - even better. When I went across the host said that a table... More
