Read great reviews here so we went to Dinner here. Great, rustic atmosphere, first class service and excellent food. Piano bar getting a little rowdy with some bad amateur vocals near the end of our meal, but bearable. Recommend the prime rib. Last day in town, looking for a good breakfast, decided to try the Sunday Brunch buffet. OMG! Walked... More

This was the second time I've eaten at Mission Ranch. This time however was very crowded as there had been an electric outage and since many locals were still without power they came here to eat. Even though a passing thunderstorm had closed the patio, management allowed us to risk the clearing sky and eat outside. What started out as... More

We arrived at Mission Ranch during prime dinner time. Had to wait approx 45 min. They had tables that could be taken on a first come first serve basis if available. I would ask which ones they are when you arrive you might get lucky. No one told us and there was a table available for a long time. We... More

My husband picked this place from reviews. We arrived at 6:30 and learned there was a 60-90 minute wait by the staff at the host stand. We usually don't wait that long but the food smelled fantastic and we figured the wait would be comparable elsewhere. One can grab a drink while waiting. The views are terrific from the property.... We love this place (Mission Ranch). It is amazing how much history is here and how it has been restored and maintained. The restaurant is very nice with an excellent menu selection. The service is wonderful. The food was very good. It's also a nice short walk to the mission or into Carmel to walk off some calories. We are... More

4 Australians on a driving holiday in the US. Carmel was definitely on the list before we head off to San Francisco, our last port of call. The restaurant was highly recommended so the 4 of us decide an early dinner is a great idea as we heard they did not take reservations and we had just done a 3... More

We recently had a delicious meal at the Mission Ranch. We were looking for a restaurant that would satisfy a meat and potato guy, and we found it here; so glad it was recommended to us. We arrived on a Tuesday evening after 7:30 and there was no wait for an inside table, on the quiet side, which is what... More

The patio is like a dream. You must go before sunset. It is a gorgeous and perfect setting. The bar is a popular hangout with live piano music. Very fun! The food, although not cheap, $18 burgers, is vey good. Please go and enjoy this great place!

Well worth a visit if you're in Carmel. The restaurant starts to take bookings from 4pm so we arrived about then and booked for first sitting at 5pm. Views over the ranch and mountains outside are great. If you sit outside the patio heaters get very warm so just ask for them to turn down if it gets too much.... More

We came here for our anniversary dinner. It was only 15 minutes from Monterey off Hwy 1. The restaurant opens at 5:30 and fills up fast. Parking is minimal. Nice piano bar while waiting for your table. Outside and inside seating with view of the sheep, pasture and mountains. I chose the filet and my wife had the salmon. All... More
