First time we came to this area, we skipped this place because of reviews. (That was several years ago). I will never come to this area and miss it again. The service is impeccable. Restaurant and restrooms clean, clean, clean. Food is wonderful. Calamari like you've never had it most likely. And the views are incredible. Heaters for outside. Two... More

My sister and I had lunch here while driving the coast highway. The food is delicious, the views breathtaking and the service outstanding. Austin waited on us and made wonderful suggestions. A perfect experience all around.

I have been here twice and both times was lucky enough to get great weather. Sat on the side outdoor deck the first time and the back deck the next. Both had good views but I prefer the "vibe" of the side deck. The food was average but I heard they got a new chef and the food has improved.... More

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad place to visit. The views are splendid, even on a cloudy grey day as it was when we were there. The restaurant is high above the sea and rocks and would have great sunsets. It was busy with lots of people there from the Pebble Beach Concours which was the reason given... More

Lovely lunch with fantastic views which set you up for an awesome drive down the Big Sur. A little prices but worth it for the ambience and also the great wine choices. Great photo opportunities as well!

Rocky Point Restaurant is located 10 miles south of Carmel on the ocean side. Its sign is unobtrusive and easily missed. We had lunch there on a weekday in August. Business at the restaurant appeared slow because the Soberanes fire was licking its way south through Big Sur and the nearby Los Padres National Forest. Although there were many servers... More

We arrived at 1130 am for our reserved lunch after a magnificent coast line drive. Definitely a journey as wondrous as the destination. Perched above a breathtaking shoreline, this fine but casual dining experience boasts a creative menu, museum quality plating, and 5 star service. Vegan, seafood and traditional American fare was served quickly and expertly while we gazed spell... More

The view at Rocky Point is spectacular. There is seating inside and outside, but no matter where you sit, the view is amazing. The grounds are also delightful and only available to patrons. The food was very good, with some higher priced seafood options (I had seabass $30=) and lower priced casual options, such as burgers (my husband enjoyed the... More
