The wife and I were on a little get away down to Big Sur. We stayed at a great little cabin up the hill from this restaurant and took the owner's recommendation to check it out. First off, the grounds are beautiful with little trails and a perfect shot of the Bixby Bridge about a mile away. The building is... More

We stopped for lunch on our way from Cambria to Carmel and arrived before it opened. It was worth the wait! The view is the best. The food, equally so. One of us had the Seafood Louis and the other, the Crosby sandwich. Both were huge portions and excellent. Kevin (with the black fedora) was our wonderful waiter. We loved... More

Stopped for lunch because the view was recommended by friends. It did not disappoint. The food was a 3+, but the view was a 5.

We found Rocky Point quite by accident and were very pleased with our experience. Great location with amazing view and wonderful food. A drive to Big Sur must include this wonderful place.

Not only is the food amazing, the views are spectacular! My husband said the Cioppino was one of the best meals he's ever had. I'm an avid coffee lover and was pleasantly surprised by the coffee, more specifically, the delicious latte. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and there's not a bad view no matter where you are. When we... More

We booked this restaurant at 5 o'clock on Sunday evening for our group of four, and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Seated outside on a perfect afternoon, we enjoyed the spectacular view while sipping a few pre=dinner cocktails. We sampled the Calamari and Szechuan String Bean appetizers...both very good without too much heat. The Prawn Scampi was delicious....very flavorful without overpowering... More

We visited this restaurant on the way south on Hwy no 1 for lunch. This restaurant offers delicious food in an beautyful environment. You can either sit inside, on the large terrasse or even better the little one with gas heaters. We had the corner table one the small terrasse and got visited by the little hungry squirill Rocky! The... More

We had lunch here with friends on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed it a lot, though I think the prices are over the top for the type of food being served. The friends are local and knew the place, so we followed their lead, partly because we just didn't want to drive as far as Nepenthe for a nice lunch... More

We stopped for lunch on our way down the coast and were rewarded with a beautiful view and a good lunch. Be ready to pay premium prices, but you don't get these views everywhere. Service was attentive.

This restaurant is off Highway 1 and has fantastic views across Big Sur and Bixby bridge. The dining area is crisp and well furnished. Staff were very friendly and the house burger was excellent. Service was very quick and coffee was constantly replenished at no extra charge. A great place to stop when driving along the coast road and reasonably... More
