I cannot recommend this restaurant enough- the owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and kept us thoroughly enterained with his wonderful stories! I just wish we had found it sooner as I would have visited every day! Great food and service and I will always fondly remember our experience there!

Went here for breakfast the food and service were good, It is a basic dinner and was just around the corner from our hotel. The Owner cam out and talked to all the customers as it wasn't very busy, but it was a nice touch. It is only open in the daytime so is a good place to get breakfast... More

This joint is famous for serving up delicious breakfasts. It did not disappoint. Step back in time to order yummy breakfast classics. Add an avocado to make it California style. The restaurant is dated in decor but very clean. The food was excellent. It was an "oldie but a goodie."

The ambiance is like a 1960's or maybe 1970's diner. VERY casual. The owners are very friendly and the male owner is very comical which is part of the charm of the restaurant. I had a Veggie Scramble which was absolutely amazing. I know it sounds strange to praise a scramble but I've never had one this good. It had... More

We had a late breakfast on our way back home from SF. it is a cute restaurant with good food. Very honest people. We stopped in Pismo Beach and I realized that I left my wallet on the table. when I called they said they would put it in the safe until the owner arrived. He promptly called and said... More

Ordered take out from this place. My husband got the California Burger while I got the grilled cheese sandwich. Both were good. This place was a short walk from where we stayed.

This was our first visit to Friar Tucks for breakfast. We were first greeted and seated by a very nice lady. Coffee and water were immediately brought to our table. Breakfasts were filling. Will definitely come back.

Had lovely French toast with a side of bacon. My husband had scramble eggs with corn beef hash. Tasty but on the greasy side. Friendly service and good price
