Friar Tuck's has wonderfully tasty burgers at half the price of the other burger locations in Carmel , even though they are a little greasy and maybe not the healthiest for you- but what red meat you is? They are delicious, with all of the fixings and a great value. A great place for someone on a tight budget in... More

We ate here on a whim this past weekend and loved it. The food was awesome but the owners make the experience great. The husband and wife who own/run the restaurant were fun, silly, and also very informative. They gave us all kinds of tips and coupons for the area. We will be back!!!

The diner is unpretentious and the food superior. They have the best blueberry pancakes in the WORLD!

We were looking for a local flair breakfast option in Carmel and this was a perfect choice. The husband and wife owners were the cook and waitress and they have been the proprietors for the past 35 years. They were attentive and extremely friendly. Food was very good and I actually had a cheeseburger for breakfast as it was advertised... More

Had breakfast and lunch here. The owner Greg and his wife were friendly and funny (told us jokes). This place has reasonable prices compared to the rest of the town. Breakfast was outstanding and the burgers are well worth trying. They close at 3pm though, so get there early.

Eating in Carmel can be dicey--so many places have inflated prices and food that is less than superb. Friar Tuck's avoids all that. For $25 (which includes a generous tip), we got surprisingly good hamburgers, fries, and cokes. The service is a little quirky but nice. Be sure to visit the john to view the scenes painted on the the... More

We went here the second morning we were in Carmel. Found it the first day and noted the reasonable prices. It was closed, It closes after lunch, so we had to go back for breakfast the next day. We were not disappointed, Everything was wonderful. Would go back if in Carmel again.

Nice hamburger joint just slightly off the beaten path. Great for families with kids that want an affordable option. Restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly.

We walked by here and were enticed by the hamburger meal deal posted in the window. A quick review read on yelp, and I decided it was worth a try. We didn't want to spend a lot on lunch, but I wanted to enjoy what I was eating. The atmosphere is friendly and they make you feel like you are... More
