Three of us went there for dinner. Beautiful setting. Nice waiter who did not amply explain the long wait if one ordered a vegetarian menu. Probably hour and one half for the others to get food. Pasta was very undercooked. Ingredients not interesting. Duck was good but overpowered by the mole sauce. 2 1/2 hours for food is far too... More

Love the views, the sandwich was really great, the waitress was mostly no where in sight. I had to go to the register to find someone to give me my bill and although I left a 10% tip, I really wanted to leave, period.

Make sure to enjoy this restaurant while there is still daylight and you can enjoy the amazing view. The food is very good and the view puts it over the top. The braised short rib was awesome... no knife needed. The halibut was also very good. The vanilla ice cream desert with berries was delicious and the portion ver generous.... More

Where do I even begin. First - management if you read this do not give me your standard "call so and so" reply. You can message me and solve it online or just send a check and do a credit card refund. I've already tried calling and got nowhere. You can see my room number so you can simply refund... More

Excellent menu with plenty of choices. Efficient and friendly service.Wine list is very comprehensive and many by the glass selections. Seek a reservation by the window for outstanding night views of illuminated waves crashing on the rocks below.

We had a lunch and dinner at Pacific's Edge...Mother Nature really helped out giving us perfect viewing weather looking out at Pt. Lobos and the Pacific Ocean. Lunch was their special soup of a red pepper bisque and the ahi tuna salad accompanied by rolls and butter, no beverage. Both were excellent. With tip, bill comes to $30. Dinner (timed... More

We are in the lounge on the first night of our stay and the restaurant on the second. The views are spectacular! Surprisingly considering other reviews, we found the food to be simply excellent. The burger in the lounge was among the best we ever had. In the restaurant we had the octopus, mushroom soup, duck and bread pudding. The... More

Fortunately this restaurant was within walking distance from where wee stayed. Unfortunately when we had dinner there it was cloudy so the view was not as spectacular as if it were clear. My husband noted that he can not remember seeing a better or more extensive wine list. We both opted for the short ribs with potato risotto which were... More

The food is thoughtfully prepared and presented in a world class manner. The setting tremendous, and they have an extensive wine cellar. They were gluten free tolerant, and had good suggestions. It was a bit pricey.

Wonderful breakfast overlooking Monterey Bay in Carmel. Topped with a nice mimosa and some fresh berries the view almost made it difficult to eat. Romantic. Beautiful. A new and special place to go. There used to be several different restaurants in the hotel, now there is just one. Wow!
