Great Pub, Restaurant and Outdoor Area

What a find. Strange set up with a big open area with fire pits and heaters (it was January) with a cosy pub on one side and restaurant on the other. Good selection of beer/ale and open fire too. Food was good - the Shrimp Pad Thai was excellent!

Stopped by Clint Eastwood's restaurant this past weekend. The good was great. We had the artichoke soup and the Monterey chicken sandwich. Both were perfect. Would highly recommend the place for a meal.

Very cool place...enjoyed lunch there on way out of Carmel. Easy parking, warmed up inside by fireplace on a chilly, wet day.

This little place was snuggled down in the heart of Carmel. The food was very good and staff pleasant. You can sit inside by a fireplace or outside on the patio where there were also a few fireplaces to keep warm.

We always stop in here when passing through or guests come in to town. I love the outdoor fire pits and a bowl of soup with a glass of wine. A little tricky to find but a fun place if your not looking for something to serious.

Outdoor dining below beautiful trees with wood burning fireplaces throughout. That's what you see was you descend the steps into Hog's Breath in Carmel. It wouldn't be California if you couldn't sit outside all year round and sip on the best wines. Hog's Breath has that and a descent menu as well. Don't let the popularity discourage you from visiting.... More

Went here for a quick drink and appetizers. The artichoke dip was very tasty, albeit a little too spicy for my tastes. The beer battered fries were lovely. Ample portions for everything! The queso dip was quite hot, but extremely tasty. A great spot for a romantic date. Beautiful fireplace and cool pictures of the previous owner, Clint Eastwood. Worth... More

We had dinner one evening here, and then stopped for a quick drink on another day. Great spot, lovely evening so the outside courtyard was perfect, and we sat near a fireplace which took the edge off of the chill. Food was fabulous, and the baked artichoke dish (can't remember the name!) was lovely. The staff were fantastic and friendly... More

Love this restaurant. We have been coming here for over 20 years. Love sitting outside in the patio in front of one of their fire places. Very romantic. Great food! Also went back again on New Year Eve and had wine and desert after our dinner at another restaurant that we weren't so pleased with. Again, sat in the small... More

Good food & wine, wait staff a tad confused, but no real complaints. They seem to hype their connection with Clint Eastwood, not sure this means much though. Good outdoor space for beer & related food on a sunny day.
