This place was really good. We just googled best fries in Carmel 'cause that is what we wanted. It was a bit pricey at $17 for a burger, fries, and a drink (each) but the way they cook their burgers made each one perfect and worth it. And the staff were super accommodating - they snuck us in before a... More

Note: this is not a fast food place! It's excellent (and usual) burgers that you have to wait a short (but worth it) time for. It's pricey though. I think the ambience is cold and prefer to sit outside (and actually BE cold) rather than sit inside with all that metal. If you love a good burger go for it.... More

The patties themselves are good, but the buns are typical mass-produced nothings. The fries are not particularly good. All in all, not worth the price.

We had lunch after cycling from Monterey and had the angus burger with rosemary aioli, Swiss and mushrooms, along with the turkey burger with havarti and avocado. We had artisan root beer and lemonade with it. Everything was delicious. The herbs in the turkey burger were outstanding. After, a generous cup of strong coffee was just what we needed before... Kobe burger did not taste any better than any old In-and-out burgher. Pesto spread (optional) was too salty. But the main problem, the waiter did not know how to process my Groupon from my phone. Waste of time and money.

We ate here one evening while on vacation in Carmel. It's a little off the beaten path. I had a turkey burger with fries and my wife had a sandwich. The food was good and our server was fun. It turns out that she is from our area in California so we visited for a while. Good burgers and we... More

Stopped for a cheeseburger and beer and received prompt service! Ingredients were top quality and food tasted great. Highly recommend hand cut garlic fries!

Definitely they use premium ingredients, and you can build your own custom burger (if you're familiar with The Counter, it's similar to that). Tasty burgers, crispy fries and terrific milkshakes. Just be ready for the fact that a single burger is $17, and a double-patty burger is $20.

I had just driven up from los Angeles and was hungry for comfort food. I found this on trip advisor and took a walk down to the shopping center. I ordered the turkey burger fries and soda. The burger was cooked great with grilled onions and the house thousand island. It was very good. The fries were excellent. Fresh and... More

We were here at 3:00 in the afternoon, and they weren't particularly busy. Were were promptly seated, and the menu sounded great! After ten minutes without so much as eye contact from the staff, we got up and left. The waitress saw us leave, and never said a word.
