We were in Carmel for 3 days and we ate here twice! It really is a fish market. They have a case full of beautiful fish that make you wish you weren't just visiting. In addition to the menu, they will cook any piece of fish from the case cooked to order. I had salmon once and halibut once. They... More

The restaurant is also a fresh seafood market. If you don't like what you see on the menu, pick out you choice of fresh seafood from the fish market and have it prepared for you by the kitchen staff. The restaurant has a very n ice selection of local Carmel Valley wines. We will wait for a table inside (there... More

Before moving southward on Highway 1 and Big-Sur towards San Simeon we stopped for lunch and found this little place outside a shopping center. Absolutely great! Good prices, a short menu with seafood. Everything we ordered was excellent.

Bought some mahi mahi for fish tacos. I am told they were the best fish tacos I have ever made. Great little place to pick up some fresh fish.

I do not understand why some people are giving high points to this place. Food was below average. Even if seafood was fresh, the preparation of dishes was wrong. Too much oil, too much fried.. Even grilled ones were in too much oil.. Absolutely nothing special. We came for lunch, but regretted it. There are much better places in town.... More

We ate several meals in Carmel during our 8 day stay. The best meal out was at the Sea Harvest. It is mainly a fish market and has a small restaurant. The restaurant was very good and the entire party of 6 enjoyed the food. The service was excellent. My Brother also purchased fresh fish from Sea Harvest and cooked... More

Sea Harvest is a local's restaurant and sea food market in a tourist-heavy town. Casual, fix anything in the market any way you want it. We had lunch of steamed mussels and oysters and fries. Both dishes well prepared with good presentation. Prices were in line for non-tourist casual dining place. Took home some Dungeness crab at $3/lb less than... More

I visited with my wife and friends today for lunch. It was a very pleasant experience with good attentive waiters who were able to describe the food on offer. The fish dishes we ate were all excellent including the chowder.

We were heading south on Interstate 5 from Washington state in our Motorhome when we suddenly decided to go west to tour the coast. We stopped in the parking lot to get some groceries when we spotted this little Gem. They have a great selection of fresh fish and shellfish. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. They... More
