The food is very fresh and locally sourced. The salad with citrus, goat cheese and pistachios was delicious. I always get an order of the bread and wonderfully salted soft butter. There is some construction going on right now in the dining area, but other than that temporary complaint, I will happily keep coming back for the fresh simple food.

Tucked away in a courtyard in Carmel near Dolores and Ocean is the Carmel Belle. The menu has something for everyone. The clam chowder was extremely good. Lots of salads. Quinoa macaronic and cheese was great. Roasted chicken (freee range) was cooked to perfection. Emphasis on good healthy local foods. Well worth enjoying for breakfast, lunch or dinner or a... More

Interest breakfast alternative -- polenta a good choice for those with gluten intolerance; European style dishes -- but right in the middle of a mini-mall. Of course Carmel rents are high and the food was not "processed" -- so, generally worth it for ordering at the counter.

This is the place to try something that sounds different, that you haven't had before - you can't go wrong. The mushroom melt with truffle oil is delicious. It takes a while to get your food because it is so busy but it is worth it. I recommend getting a pastry to hold you over with a cup a tea... More

My girlfriend took me here and I really like this place. Food is good and fresh, and we enjoy the juice and smoothie.

Healthy and good. From veggie fresh juice to avocado toast, this place rocked on the good food. Don't go for view or great service but they do food right

Located in the food court area, surrounded by lots of neat little shops, lunch here has always been very good on our visits. Having not been to Carmel for over four years this was the first place we thought of . We were glad we did. We had the meatloaf sandwich, which just happens to come first on the sandwich... More

I reviewed this restaurant 2 years ago, but had only eaten there once. This trip we tried several different meals. I have never had a bad meal here, everything has always exceeded our expectations. If you bring your dog to Carmel, this is one of the few indoor places you can enjoy with your dog. It's a great cafe and... More

Came here first one mid morning for a hot beverage. The young fellow taking orders seemed a bit confused (not sure why) when taking our orders and had difficulty answering our simple questions. However, we did end up with the right orders - Chai Tea, Hot Cocoa and a Mocha. Lots of seating indoors with sky lights. It's located at... More

Ordered two sizes $10 and $20 chicken pot pies togo. And here they come... in a paper cup, no pastry, just gravy, chicken and I the think some vegetables with a few pieces of wafer bread to throw on top. Flavor not bad, but come on. I live here, I'll pass the good word.
