History, millenary culture and ethnicity gently mix together trough Oaxacan's Master Cheff Pável Gomez to create majestic dishes that combine contemporary flavors with traditional scents. For someone who only eats meats once a month, the beef steak was outstanding World's Class. This guy creates magic for your senses.

My husband and I went to Christopher's last weekend for our anniversary after friends suggested it. We were not disappointed! It was a Sunday evening so the restaurant was quiet. They have an extensive regular menu and had 4 appetizer and 5 entree specials. Everything was delicious and fresh. The waiters were accommodating and friendly. I wish we had a... More

This is thought to be one of the best places to eat in Carmel and they were not wrong. Great decor, friendly staff and great food. We chose the steak, duck and fish. All expertly cooked and tasted wonderful. The the desserts. Ice cream and pro fritter rolls and Crete brûlée. All washed down with a couple of bottles of... More

Christopher's was recommended by a local shop keeper and she was right on. Ambiance yes, bright, but romantic. View yes. Our favorite was a chile relleno appetizer. Big enough to share and unique excellent. They are located in a quiet part of town just a coup,e blocks off ocean. A must try. Excellent friendly service. Great menu. The dessert was... More

We had several dishes which were excellent and the service made it that much better. They included local seafood, house made pasta, great salad and dessert.

in Carmel! Why this place isn't packed is beyond me. We have eaten there three times in the past couple months and the food is fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. It has a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace, dutch doors for fresh air and friendly service. Our two waiters last night couldn't of been better. We enjoyed fried green tomatoes,... More

We made reservations early for Valentines dinner- 7:15. One week prior, received a call asking us to change reservation time to 7:45 which we did, but would have preferred the earlier time. We went to the movies prior to dinner and got there a little early (7:20) - there were many empty tables. Started with an absolutely awesome mushroom soup... More

We enjoyed the fireplace room and the good food. As a large party, the restaurant was gracious to accommodate us during the busy PGA golf week. Everything was very good. Good service and good food. Reasonable prices to what I would describe as a very nice quiet get away. It has multiple rooms off an alcove of surrounding small shops.... More

When all of the stars are aligned this restaurant is a winner. However most of the time this is not the case. It can be cozy and good for a romantic dinner or change in a minute to a loud disturbing dining venue. There is very little to absorb the noise and it does not take much to disturb a... More

Maybe it was timing (Wednesday after 8), maybe we just picked an odd night. The food was excellent (sea bass, chili relleno) and nice little spot. There were only a few tables occupied and they got the order wrong - we got the fish with mashed potatoes instead of lentils. The wine list was adequate but nothing to write him... More
