We had the gyros and it was amazing! There was a birthday in the house and there was singing and live music that turned into a birthday dance party! Great food, fun atmosphere and the management checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory. We will definitely return for lunch or dinner the next time we are in... More

The food and the cozy ambiance were pleasant. Staff was helpful. If i would return to Carmel, this would be a place to be visited again.

This is how a home should feel. Fun, lively, with warm hospitality and delicious food! I LOVE THIS PLACE. This was my third visit and it was my choice for my birthday dinner. They did not disappoint. Walked up to a room filled with music played by the owners/chef singing and got welcomed with a glass of wine while I... More

Every time we go, we're reminded why we want to go back. We learned from the beginning to make a reservation--there still might be a few minutes wait time but it is highly advisable to have one on a Friday or Saturday night. The service is always spot on and with a smile! The atmosphere is lively and will put... More

Although we arrived relatively late after 8 pm we were warmly welcome by the owner and his staff. The food and wine suggestions were very good and reasonably priced. The lamb meat is absolutely superior, not to be missed. The music, songs and a little of dance added to a friendly sphere, just the right measure to enjoy and still... More

We stopped in for lunch on a busy day and had to wait around 10 minutes for a table; it was worth the wait!! My husband ordered the gyros, I ordered the kafta kebab; both came with a small greek salad which was excellent. The kafta kebab is a more robust meal than the gyros, so I shared with my... More

My wife and I were worried about finding dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Many places were either closed or serving "special" meals. While walking aimlessly we came across Dametra Cafe. As we were debating about entering, a passerby advised us that we would not be disappointed and we certainly were not. After a short wait, we were seated and our friendly... More

My husband and I decided to try Greek food for a change after many, many seafood restaurants. After reading the reviews the idea sound pretty good but the experience was not close. Portions are good, service is good so the atmosphere but the flavors not the same. I was expecting the spices and aromas that I had during our visit... More

This reminded me of the old Italian restaurants in NY back in the day, where the owner and staff would play guitar and sing and he whole restaurant would get up and dance. Oh and the food was great too! Offered me complimentary pita and hummus while I waited at the bar, and also offered free baklava at the end... More

With all the super expensive tiny meals in Carmel this place changes the game. Some of the entrees are up there but the sandwiches are huge and very large. I could hardly finish. But the best prt of he meal was the love song and dance out of nowhere. Two gentleness played a guitar and sang us all a song.... More
