One of our hotel staff recommended this hotel and were we pleased! Right on the main drag in Carlsbad Village. Seating indoors and out. Wait staff were very pleasant. FYI, the refried black beans are terrific! Reasonably priced too.

I'm so glad I was referred here. This place is awesome! The food is all from scratch. The salsa i could drink by the gallon.... lol. I had the Flame-Roasted Chile Relleño w/ Carnitas. I would highly recommend.

Truly, this restaurant is close to either of the places we stay in Carlsbad Village. Usually eat here a couple of times during 2 week stay. Margaritas are very good, good choice of beers and food entrees. We try to eat in the area just off the sidewalk; fun to people watch while relaxing!! Our food has always been good... More

Nice casual, beach atmosphere. Good and fast service and great margaritas. Walking distance to beach and nearby-Carlsbad Village.

Visited on a slow monday evening. Good service throughout the meal and good margaritas. Food however was pretty bland and lacked spice or much flavor. Had chili releno, tacos, enchiladas. All pretty much tasted the same. I was full when I left, but cannot say satisfied with the meal.

Very good food and loved the atmosphere here. Service was good too. They don't have ground beef though which was what I like on Tacos

Love this medium-sized Mexican food place in Carlsbad Village!! Chips and salsa are great and plentiful! Servers are friendly and attentive! Everyone in our party ordered something different and all felt their meal was delicious! I'd definitely return here again!

Not the best Mexican restaurant. Very Americanized in my estimation. Location is good with ample parking in dirt lot.

Great atmosphere - medium sized open air restaurant for families. You get a choice of two sides which includes their delicious vegetarian boiled beans, smoky black beans, refried beans, rice, or the best cabbage salad around! It is slightly overpriced, but it is such a fun atmosphere and feels so beachy that it is worth it. Definitely stop here when... More
