Came here for breakfast. Got sat right away. Loved their Golden State Benedict but was on the cold side. Great biscuits & gravy!!! Service was a little slow. 4 star instead of 5 because service was a little slow & Benedict barely warm but otherwise it would have been a 5 :)

My cousin & I had omelets for breakfast & they were cooked perfectly, delicious & very generous. I had a biscuit with mine & have never seen a biscuit that big & it was also delicious. I ordered hot tea and was brought a basket of many assorted teas! Very nice touch. Overall the place was very clean- the food... More

Found this breakfast/lunch spot while driving and it was well done. Nice patio and good menu with many options. Decent service as our waiter was overwhelmed often. I would come back.

Broken Yolk was the perfect breakfast spot for my brother, our Dad (who was visiting from Oregon), and myself. The food, service, and atmosphere was ideal before we enjoyed opening day at Del Mar Fairgrounds.

This place had a huge menu and even huger portions. Not refined, but really consistent for basic fare. Omelets were very large and had plentiful fresh fillings. Service was good. Coffee cold have been a little stronger.

We ate at Broken Yolk twice and sat on the patio. My wife loved The Mom Omelette. They have many good choices that combine eggs with a Mexican twist. Broken Yolk is also a popular place for locals to bring their dogs while sitting on the patio.

Ate outdoors. Portions large, couldn't finish it all. Ordered omelette - all have four eggs plus ingredients added. Included was blueberry biscuit and fruit bowl (from several choices). Large menu, some unusual breakfast combinations on menu.

Great breakfast place. We go there regularly with our local family. Sometimes a short wait, but good food does that, and there's a Starbucks right next door for good coffee while you wait. Large menu, everything is good. Family atmosphere, noisy on weekends. Good stuff! Enjoy!

This is a popular spot. It was very busy when we visited on a late Friday morning for breakfast. Despite the rush, we were seated almost right away. They have a huge menu and everything sounded so delicious we had a hard time making up our minds about what to try. My son tried the Tiki toast and loved it.... More
