Whenever we are in Carlsbad this is where we head to. My favorite is the lox and bagel plate. Clean, filling and very tasty food. The coffee is the best!! No bitter taste and the place is inviting and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy good food and coffee, this is your place.

I love the atmosphere of this place. It feels like a little cafe in a small town. Had lunch here last week. Turkey & avocado on sour dough. Outstanding! I also love their flavored coffee. I liked the free internet too.

This place is always packed, so just plan on getting your order and going somewhere else to enjoy it. It's a local favorite but handy for tourists, also, so it's always packed. The coffee is really really good and the food excellent and healthy! We go back again and again because it's just worth it.

This is a pretty neat little coffee place with cookies and rolls, etc. They have all kinds of coffee they can make for you, and differs from a Starbucks in atmosphere (not so "starbucky") and because it has chairs, couches and tables. Lots of young people go there as well as older people. Casual and friendly.

We stopped by here twice for dessert after dinner. One was a smores bar, and it was really great. Then, the other time was for a double scoop of ice cream, which was yummy. This looked like a great place for coffee, tea, wifi, and just hanging out in general.

I really enjoy the selection of teas, also Leo is very friendly and makes you feel like home! or like your kitchen....Everyone in general at the cafe is very nice and they have the best disposition to help. I haven't try any of their cakes because they are to sweet and different from what I like... More

Strolling through Carlsbad village during a day trip. Stopped by for coffee at the village. Cafe is located in the heart of the village. Good ambience, both indoor and outdoor seating. Location is very picturesque. Both my wife and I had a cappuccino which was very good. We both like it very hot which it was not, but other than... More

A neighborhood coffee shop with pastries, some hot breakfast items, ice cream and coffee drinks. The atmosphere is nice with indoor/outdoor seating options. Locals come here and hang out (lots of dogs with the outside seating). The coffee is just ok. We like our own coffee at home better, but sometimes come here just for the atmosphere.

We get coffee here every morning and then grab a blended mocha in the afternoons. No one does blended like Vinaka's!

The grilled cheese sandwich I had today was awful....dry, tasteless, minimal cheese and unappetizing as it seems to have been thrown in the basket. How's about putting some butter on the outside of the bread before putting it in the panini grill ? Read up and make a better grilled cheese, y'all. Your other sandwiches have always been so good!
