Very authentic restaurant that served good food. The staff were friendly and there were cats walking around which was sweet. The chicken cashew was delicious. They have live crabs and fish in pools outside that they cook fresh. We went in the evening and put lots of mosquito spray on. Price was mid range.

It wasn't in out list of restaurants for our Krabi trip but we decided to go due to New Year crowd. And We were not dissapointed at all. The foods are amazing and the staffs are super freindly and helpful. And the view is beautiful.
The foods are so good to the point that we went there on repeat during our stay in Krabi.

A true hidden gem of a restaurant.
Built on stilts next to the river in Ao Nam Mao this place is worth the search.
The food is mainly Thai with a huge array of fresh seafood on offer.
Beautiful scenery, fast service. Well priced .

I and my friends came here as suggestion of our resort and we weren't disappointed. The food was surprisingly delicious (their sea food is a must-try and don't forget they have homemade cakes as dessert). The staff were really really friendly and caring. We felt very welcome here and enjoy the river view a lot.

We have been in Ban Ko Lek few times already, nice quite location in the mangrove national park, nice staff amazing food.
I really suggest pork knuckle, squid fritter and green curry beef.
Nearby Ban Ko Lek inside Port Takola the same family has open a new restaurant with live jazz music, nice cocktail and stunning view to the marina

It was a pleasant surprise to have found the restaurant. Located by the riverside...
Perfect view the the mangrove...
Live jass music with female vocal from 6pm...
has enhanced the ambience.
Because the food is tasty,price is affordable, we came twice during our stay.

Ban Ko Lek restaurant is located right on the river - a great location with a lovely breeze over the water. There were four of us in our group and three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal but the fourth said that his was very chilli laden which masked the flavour of the dish. I can highly recommend the Eggplant with Crabmeat - delicious.
The restaurant was very crowded but we didn’t have to wait longer Nga to have our orders taken and the food came quite quickly. There was a cabinet of delicious French desserts but we were all too full to partake!

With great food and great location at the riverfront, Ban Ko Lek is so
popular for the tourists who want to try the typical southern food.
Each dish we ordered was very tasty. Nice view for photo taking.

It’s the local for Ao Nam Mao. All the dishes that I had are a little bit too sweet. But it’s ok to have the normal dishes there.

We spend a week in Krabi (Fossile beach/Ao Nang Beach/ Tubkaak beach), we visited the restaurant one lunch and two dinners. Fist visit for lunch because it is next to our hotel (The Shellsea),only saw two/three local people eating here.
Location: you need to reach here by car. The restaurant next to a river, not a tourist area. The time waiting for our food we saw a small snake swimming toward to us with the head out of water and a lot of fishes in the water.
Staff: they don’t speak English, but with the English menu we are able to order all the dishes we want.
Food: fresh ingredients, nice potion, eggplant with minced shrimp, soft shell crab, deep fried chicken wings are my favorite dishes.
Entertainment：Wednesday evening had a live music, very nice singers.
Important: there is not much information about this restaurant opening hours, so don’t go too late, We went on Thursday 8pm, their kitchen is closed, but Wednesday open until 9pm, Friday is open until 10pm.
So far we tried different food in Ao Nang, this place is still our best found in Krabi.
