We arrived around 3:30 pm on a Wednesday, when there were lots of families on spring break and lots of folks coming in from the beach. My wife ordered the chili relleno: it was bland and runny (not well cooked). I ordered the seafood burrito, and it was also bland. It may have been filled with old fish from the... More

We had lunch for 5 and even though the place was busy, we were served fairly quickly and the food was as ordered. Nothing fancy, but all of the food was good.

This is a fairly good cheap eats place.....nothing special. The food is good, portions good, service ok, but not good enough to go out of your way to go there. If in the area it's ok, and there are several other types of Resturant's. it is small and parking tight but a value for what it is.

Is it bad when the waiter/waitresses know you because you go too often? Well, this has been our "go to" mexican restaurant for many years. It has remained consistent in the quality and taste of their items and the margaritas never disappoint! Oh yeah, and it's across the street from the beach so be sure to go during sunset!

Did this place three times in a month and they never disappointed. Don't miss the Tortilla soup. Good news, they have parking. Bad news, if it rains the puddles are deep and wide.

Great place, good atmosphere and good food best margaritas! This is an icon of southern California,if you are coming for the first time to San Diego, you should drive up the coast and have Mexican food in this little restaurant, if the wait is a little long.. you can try their margaritas while looking at the ocean!

We visited this bustling local Mexican spot on a recent Saturday night with family ranging in age from 17-90. It was crowded, yet we were seated after a short 20 minute wait. We went especially for the seafood specialties and they did not disappoint. Also delish were the cheese crisp and the salsa sampler.

Las Olas is close to my home and across the street from the ocean, so I thought I'd try it. I've been there only twice, so I'm hoping my next visit will change my score for this restaurant. They do have good margaritas. My favorite taco is crispy chicken tacos. Don't order them here. I was here recently, and I... More

This place is ALWAYS packed every time we go by so we decided to give it a try. While I appreciate the extra parking lot, it was a muddy, nasty mess after the storm. I got the margarita flight and enjoyed trying the different ones available. The menu is pretty small and limited and to be fair, the dishes the... More

With so many places to eat mexican food in San Diego my standards are very high. Las Olas does have a great location right across the beach on PCH, perfect at sunset. The drinks and food are very well priced, I recommend the margarita for only $5.
