Great food, huge quantities, friendly staff, chill surfy atmosphere, great espresso bar attached, and all in view of the Pacific Ocean. This might be my new favorite breakfast place anywhere!

Pipes is an iconic breakfast spot in Cardiff. Food and coffee (free refills!) are good. Dogs are welcome.

Server said the muffins are special. So I ordered a cranberry muffin with lunch. It was outstanding! View of the ocean from the porch. Loved the ambience!

Delicious down home cooking! Not the healthiest food but if you're looking for old school comfort food this is the place to come. Their breakfast sandwich is super good. Also the french toast.

Breakfast burritos are big enough to fill you up, and coffee is strong. I used to get the burritos, but I now prefer just a regular breakfast plate. Home fries are good and not underdone. Complaints include: cash only and it gets full fast, especially outside. But I won't ding them a star for that.

Dropped while driving down the coast. The restaurant just what was looking for. A little breakfast oasis in a beach town. Breakfast special would serve 2 unless you've been carving waves all morning. Lots of coffee options and lunch is served also

Best breakfast and best value in North County. Small plastic chairs and tables, but the food is fantastic. Lines can be long and cash only but worth it. ATM on site

Go here any time we visit our family in the area. Seriously the best breakfast burritos. I go with my brother who is a local and he highly recommends it and it is the bomb! Dreaming about it while I'm not there... sigh.

Nobody makes a better breakfast burrito than the folks at Pipes. The burritos are enormous, however, so you may want to split. Stuffed full of soft, tender scrambled eggs and your choice of fresh ingredients such as avocado, sausage, cilantro, salsa. . . The coffee and orange juice are delicious, too!

Stopped here on a referral of my friend. Glad we did. This little place has both outdoor and indoor seating, has a espresso bar next to it, and has great close to the beach ambiance. Has a big menu and the portions were huge. You stand in line to order then seat yourself till they bring it out to you.... More
