This is the only breaking area where you are heading to tiger nest temple. It's good to have a break here as no other choice. Another good point to view the Tiger Nest. We have actually had lunch there, quite nice, it's buffet type and no meats at all which is understandable. By climbing to the Tiger Nest, you definitely... More

As this is the only place to get food on the trek to tigers nest, there really is no incentive for it to be good. But, surprisingly the food was good. Specifically, the lentil soup. It was warm and filling after hiking up to tigers nest and hiking half way back. This was the perfect rest stop and area to... More

We ordered our meal on the way up and stopped and ate it on the way back down, by which time we were starving and well and truly ready for a sit down and some food.. The food was fairly average, but after all that exertion getting up and back to the monastery anything would have been wonderful. It was... More

This cafe has a fantastic location as it is halfway up the trail to the Tiger's Nest Monastery. but other than that there is not too much to be said for it. One can get tea, coffee and snacks, but not really much else. Having said that it was certainly a welcome break for some in our party who were... More

Location is strategic, on the way to one of the most beautiful trekking site I have been to. Unfortunately, this cafe is far from well-managed. Food is very basic. Not much choice for drink (ginger tea, or simply good coffee/tea with sandwich/biscuits, mung bean soups). Just need to be grateful of the existence, as a rest area, esp. on the... More

The cafeteria is located about half way up the trek to the taktsang monestary. The view is fabulous as you can see the monestary and the cliff side. However the coffee/tea is nothing great and expensive!! Also not much options for food as they only have a buffet lunch.

While climbing to Tigers nest this place is one the way and one needs that break after strenuous climb. But at 120 one tea and 6 simple biscuits are expansive. One can really enjoy the beautiful view from this cafe though and seemed nice to stay here.

Just take a rest. Buy the water bottles and enjoy relax the foot. Do not expect too much for eating there. Simply take some cookies and coffee. The food taste is weird. Not recommend at all and also over price. Nice spot to snapshot if the sky is clear
