Good food, good wine, and beer. A must if you go thru Camino, Ca. If you go to Apple Hill a must to stop at. Also great deck for outdoor eating.

We found ourselves in Apple Hill, were hungry and came across this pub just off Highway 50. We were made welcome immediately by our server and the menu was full of real, homemade, delicious comfort food with the vegetables cooked to perfection, which was a welcome change.

Sometimes they have a venison chili special, the pear strudel is so delicious, and everything they serve is just fantastic. Beer and wine are available, including some local ones. Fish and chips are wonderful, every burger I've had is stellar, and the soups are great, too. You can even order from the kid's menu, if you have a smaller appetite.

Stopped in for lunch. Grilled turkey sandwich with bacon an avacado was awesome. Also had cream of asparagus soup and a chicken taco. Good menu, great folks, very convenient sop on our jaunt through Apple Hill country.

It was excellent food all around. Everyone left feeling full and very satisfied. I didn't take any photos of the food, but some of... More

The food I'm crazy about used to be at St. Pauli's off Hwy 50 heading to Lake Tahoe. They closed several years ago but have recently been rediscovered in Camino - myself and family are thrilled. When I first walked into the restaurant I had instant memories of my grandmother cooking. We adore the stroganoff and the dumplings are as... More

Nice restaurant right across the street from Camino Hotel bed and breakfast. Locals spot with good German food and spirits.

I knew weeks in advance of our trip that I wanted to stop at Forester to have some German Schnitzel. I was pleased with the food, it was tasty! My granddaughter enjoyed her chicken sandwich and fries. We sat inside but there is outside seating as well which looked pleasant. Service was as expected, but frankly could have been a... More
