This is Camino's best kept secret! Located next to the Chevron station/mini market, you will find a custom cafe with a wine bar and draft beer to compliment their fun menu. Small plates, daily specials, sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts....something for everybody! This is one of my favorite lunch spots with girlfriends. Indoor and outdoor dining. They do accommodate large... More
Mike Owen has a great personality, is sharp when it comes to wines, and has a passion for his quaint Cellar. They also do a lot of events at this getaway wine spot. Mike is also involved in the community and keeps up on what's going on around him so he can bring the latest and best to the Bistro.
Wow, food was absolutely amazing, very large portions, all three of us shared the cheese platter, never have i ever had such delicious cheeses, and the wines, i had the wedge salad, oh that blue cheese, with that smoky bacon, was to die for, oh Lordy, we all left stuffed and happy! The waitress was delightful, all though extremely overwhelmed,... More
We love this place. On our recent visit we had the Artichoke Jalapeno Empanadas with Cilantro Dipping Sauce (Excellent!), the Caprese with peaches & heirloom tomatoes (Excellent!) & stuffed mushroom caps (Good). We are going back for their Summer Concert Series on a Sat. or Sun. afternoon. Headed West on US 50 from Tahoe? They are right off the freeway... More
After a busy day at Apple Hill we wanted to grab dinner locally before heading home to Reno. We went on Open Table and snagged a reservation for Crystal Basin Cellars. Wouldn't have mattered. First of all, our GPS couldn't find the place. This was not their fault, but made us frustrated to start with. So we called the number... More
Fun for Friday nights. Various musical talent that is pleasant! We love the jalapeno/artichoke dip. Salads are great. Start at Crystal Basin Cellar across the parking lot and pick up a bottle of wine first...no corkage fee for their wines😄. We love the bubbly white. Concerts on Sat/Sun late afternoons too.
Great food, fun atmosphere, outside dining with music. Go casual. Crystal Basin winery is next door so you can wine taste, pickup a bottle or two and stroll to the Bistro next door.
Ohy gosh best food ever . Everything was amazing. Great wine great company......... definately a must go too
