I had a sandwich for lunch here and although the bread was fresh, it was not French bread, more like a torta. The ladies who work here were all very friendly and service was good.

At some point during a day in Cambria we will stop here—whether for coffee/espresso, pastries or sandwiches. Everything is very fresh and tasty. On this stop we ordered BLT and turkey/avocado sandwiches and they were excellent, and huge! There are only a few seats inside and outside but there are a lot of nice places around town to take your... More

Place is small like a mini Starbucks. Coffee great and pasties great. I felt like I was in France again. Took two croissants for the road. They were delicious too. No breakfast/egg sandwiches. Highly recommend it.

Got an apple tart and a large latte. The tart was delicious and the latte was in a ceramic cup which I enjoyed more. Wish there had been more seating but other than that I adored this little bakery.

We needed food for a picnic, and I couldn't find a grocery store in the downtown district. Better than do-it-yourself sammies was French Corner Bakery. We ordered a sandwich to share and a gorgeous spinach/feta pastry. Both were delicious. Service was friendly and moderately fast.

Went to this very nice place and split a crosiant for lunch. It was the best I've ever had. Very light and flaky. All their desserts looked scrumptious but we were too busy to eat them. Every time we wanted dessert we'd stroll into Linn's Pies.

Interesting take on 'French' … nicely freshly baked pastries, good coffee but basic … not sure where the 'French' connotation comes from, but hey … honest, good offering anyways ;-)

This bakery stands out on a corner in the pretty little town of Cambria. We tried a fresh mozzarella sandwich and a hot pastrami sandwich. Both were great. The best part is the fresh bread! There is a variety of pastries and cakes on display as well as a great coffee selection. Grab from the one day old bread basket... More

On our journey from Morro Bay to Big Sur we stopped off for breakfast. We had coffee croissant an blueberry muffins. They were ok but curiously lacking taste. The cafe has a huge paining of a French street scene with - a corner café. The baking of the produce wasting on in the room behind the counter and it seemed... More

We had cupcakes from the bakery. They were fresh and delicious. We would definitely return for more good treats.
