Madeline's came highly recommended by a friend the Mark White Water Inn. Had an early dinner and was totally thrilled by the service and quality of the food. My wife and I both had the fish of the day, grilled White Sea Bass. My wife chose the pineapple chutney and I had the lemon dill sauce. Both were excellently prepared... More

As a family of 5 we ate here tonight. Friendly restaurant with very nice food. Steak and rack of lamb cooked very well. Delicious piece of seabass but slightly too much garlic, hence my rating of only 4.The service was quite good but not exceptional. Deserts were lovely. My daughter had the berry cobbler and described it as 'Christmas in... More

I only indulge in French food occasionally because it is usually wonderfully rich. This was the case at Madeline's, and I savored every bite. My husband likes his steak bleu - very rare - and they cooked it to perfection. I had Polenta Madeline which was a tower of polenta and vegetables that melted in my mouth and was flavored... More

We went to Madeline's for a sweet anniversary celebration. I had the fresh fish (ling cod) and hubby had the pork chop. The pork chop was a little bit dry/tough, but still flavorful. We both had salads and shared a dessert. The dessert was Madeline's anniversary gift to us (blackberry cobbler with a huge scoop of ice cream). Madeline's has... More

I had the gnocchi with crab cakes to start. The server was young, but working on his wine pairing skills - so we went back and forth with a few samples as he helped me decide on a wine. The crab cakes were super delicious. The gnocchi was prepared differently than I have had them before and were a little... More

Despite the ratings-inflation that seems to have afflicted Tripadvisor and other such services, this place really deserves its high rating. This is one of the few fine-dining experiences we really enjoyed while travelling through California. Many other places charged similar prices, but did not compare to this place in terms of quality of food and service. We were a group... More

Or first trip in to Maseline's. The service was very good. The menu diverse enough to find what you want. Entrees included lamb, filet mignon, duck, rabbit, seafood and a veg offering. I had polenta with veggies. It was really nice. Hubby got the gumbo. He wasn't a fan of it. It was basically rice with a gumbo-esque gravy. The... More

We weren't sure what to expect when we found the tables nestled amongst the bottles of wine that Madeline's retails during the day, but it was highly recommended so we went for it. Wow, the meal was awesome, I normally don't order filet mignon - you can get that anywhere - but it was perhaps the best filet I have... More

I ended in the restaurant by pure luck and it turn out to be a great find. If you are in the region you should definitely go and check it out. If you are just driving by its a nice place to stop, rest and have a great meal as is not far from route 1. I am planing to... More
