Wow. This tiny restaurant only seats maybe 20 people at a time. We felt so lucky to squeeze in at about 9pm. A couple came in right after us and was turned away. We had one of the best meals we've ever had. The menu is ecclectic, Asian-fusion, local (San Luis Obispo farmers' market.) There are many gluten-free choices. We... More

We visited at lunchtime and it was not busy. Dog friendly establishment and we sat outside on a lovely patio. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and flavorful. We started with a squash coconut soup that was light and satisfying. Chosen entrees were pork with noodles and shrimp yellow curry. Both were good sized servings accompanied with a variety of fresh,... More

Delicious Singapore cuisine with a twist and cooked to order. We loved the food . It was quiet during our stay so guess that's why it was just us!

Things like yellow carrots, artichokes, etc appeared in the dishes. The pad thai was different than I've ever had (in the US). The Vietnamese BBQ pork was excellent. A bit pricey, but that seems to be the deal in Cambria.

Enjoyed our meal at Wild Ginger, great flavors. (Would have given 5 star if they used local seafood and meats, which given prices and availability of those products would seem to be reasonable.) In photo is barbecued pork with noodles dish and sweet and sour tofu, both delicious.

One of the things I love about Cambria is that for such a small town, there is no shortage of fine dining experiences. My husband and I stopped in for dinner at Wild Ginger unexpectedly tonight, we'd never been before, but the specials looked good and we sure weren't disappointed. We both ordered the Tom Kha Kai soup, (spicy with... More

To start off on the wrong foot the server/ owner saw we had a larger party (4 adults, 3 kids) and never seemed to assist us in ordering larger dishes that we could share. We went into it thinking the plates would be a little larger and that we could perhaps have extra rice(sort of like the family style dishes... More

Good service, surprisingly excellent food. Fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared and presented. My roasted fig salad was outstanding. My husband had a salmon dinner that had a tasty assortment of different vegetables and perfectly cooked salmon. We also shared the lemon pudding cake and it was really good.

We read menus and reviews for many local restaurants while walking thru Cambria before selecting Wild Ginger for dinner. What a treat! The Pacific Rim/Asian fusion menu was intriguing and inspired. We chose Grilled Vietnamese Pork and Korean Beef Barbecue, even tho the daily specials also sounded good. Altho our dishes each had rice noodles and fresh vegetables in common,... More
