Lucerne has been open for 12 years and this was our first time. Located in a outdated retail space, but inside its very nice. Service was exceptional. Food was excellent. Ready to go back next weekend.

Delicious, classy small restaurant, tucked between a closed Kmart and Vons. Authentic delicious Italian food.
Small, intimate atmosphere and wonderful food and service! A little difficult to find but well worth the effort.
We attended a Buttonwood wine dinner at Lucerne and were very impressed. The food and wine pairings were well matched from the salad through the entree. The chef created a lovely salad with most items grown by Buttonwood. Following was a scampi, a pasta dish,...the lamb. The lamb isn’t a top choice for me but this lamb with a reduction sauce was delicious! I ate every bit of it. We look forward to dining on a non event night. I would have given this 5 stars but the noise level was so high that we could not hear the wine descriptions or other announcements- a gentleman at the next table covered his ears due to the loudness. Suggest this smaller restaurant limit the number of wine dinner guests.More
This is in the corner of a large strip mall, but inside it is quite nice. They have a menu that includes pasta, meats, and fish. Hot and cold appetizers also there. Started with a bruschetta. They make their own bread (I think) and it...is good. The bruschetta comes out warm and is served with some goat cheese and capers. I also had the ravioli with vodka sauce, which was nice. It was pretty heavy on the sauce. I had the cheese ravioli, but they also have veal filled if you prefer. Save room for dessert, which was the star of the meal. Shared the tiramisu and creme brulee. Both were really good, especially with coffee. Service was very attentive. Of course, they have a wine list, but I did not try it out. I would come here again, and I want to try the gnocchi. Count on about $30-40 per person and up.More
I had lunch with colleagues at Lucerne Restaurant. The lobster ravioli was a little above average. The service was excellent and prices were mid range. The desert was awesome!
Highly recommend their wine tasting events. All courses wine matched. Intimate restaurant with limited seating. Adult atmosphere. I noticed some complaints about closeness of seating, but it was fine for me. The restaurant feels European and the service was exceptional.
We were very pleased with our first visit to Lucerne and will come back again. The food was very tasty and very well priced. We felt very welcome and look forward to our next visit. Plus, their wine inventory is excellent and very fairly priced.
Very small restaurant. Tables too close together. Couldn't hear people at my table due to the LOUD man sitting practically in my lap at the table next to me. Service was extremely slow. One waiter for entire place. Wine wasn't great. Mixed salad was pathetically...limp.. Hubby had Caesar said it was fresh. Eggplant parmegiana was basically three raw slices of eggplant with a piece of cheese in the middle with tomato sauce on top. The parmesan cheese was pre grated and didn't taste fresh and had a smell. Husbands salciccia (spaghetti with Italian sausage) was good. Mocha crunch cake was ok - still frozen.More
Every now and then we are on the lookout for a new place to dine. Looking for Italian and checking out menus we came across this little hidden gem in Camarillo. Tucked away in a rather nondescript storefront in a shopping center one might easily...miss it. Inside the small space fits about 15 tables but it is all worthwhile . The service is efficient and very personable. The food excellent. Thumbs up.More
