We were there before the dinner rush so it was relatively quiet. The service was fast and the food was excellent.

Located off 101 freeway in Camarillo. This is a chain restaurant. Reliably good beer, both Irish and some more local types. Shepherd's Pie is quite good, beer battered onion rings a tasty indulgence, good hamburgers. Menu has assortment of traditional Irish fare. Well stocked bar. Happy hour is popular here, with 1/2 price on some appetizers and entrées, sometimes only... More

Very authentic Irish pub atmosphere. Very interesting photos and signs hanging on walls. Fun to read and look at. Food is excellent. The Shepherd's Pie is the best we've ever had, Amazing flavor. They also serve excellent homemade potato chips as a complimentary appetizer. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Apparently the genius bar that runs brendans decided to toss out the menu and issue a very limited summer menu. Well that is great if the items offered are either spectacular, or priced special for summer, neither is happening here. I ordered a stew / meat pie with mashed potatoes on top. What I got was a bowl of overcooked... More

Our family, four adults and a teenager, were in Camarillo for a youth soccer tournament, and decided to go to Brendan's Irish Pub & Restaurant for dinner, on a Saturday night. The parking lot nearby was full of cars and we were concerned that we would have a long wait for a table. Instead our wait was minutes. The service... More

Four of us stopped at Brendan's for lunch yesterday. I ordered the Shepherd's Pie (basically ground beef with veggies topped with mashed potatoes). It was a medium size portion and served aka carte. It was $15.99!!! Yikes!!!! Brendan's should add a side salad or rolls....or both. Won't go back.....too pricey for lunch!!!!!

Spent time at the bar with the company of good friends, then stayed for dinner. The young staff was very attentive and service was good. We got a booth, and I enjoyed my Shepherd's Pie and pale ale. A good stop for travelers thru Camarillo.

I have been to Brendan's several times now. Still looking for that one thing I really like to eat. Menu is very limited. If not for the great atmosphere and bag pipe player I would choose to eat elsewhere.

Service chronically slow - food (save for the chicken curry ordered by one of our friends) less than average. This venue looks unloved.

I like the food here, the ambiance is really nice, kind of dark and some booths quite private. Sometimes they have entertainment like bagpipes or even Irish Dancing. Really fun for the whole family.
