We had breakfast at Sarafornia while we stayed at Roman Spa. Had huevos rancheros and it was very good. I'll be back again for sure next time we visit Calistoga.

I used to love this restaurant, its been in Calistoga for years. I love a good breakfast and this place served it all day and it used to be a reliable decent meal. Last few times I was there I was very disapointed. The first...time it was bad I thought, well we all have are down days, perhaps a new chef or??? So a few months later we went back and nope - food was lukewarm, I had the mexican omlete, beans tasted as if they were out of the can, the rest was tastless and again lukewarm. My friends had the biscuits and gravy, not hot and the gravy tasted like paste. If it was the chef I hope he is long gone. But not sure if I want to spend my hard earned money again at this place. I wonder if it has changed hands, I don't know but it went down hill.More

Not a pancake fan, but my friend ordered the special that had coconut and pineapple and it was sooooooo good! The scramble was delicious as well which came with perfectly cooked hash browns.

We went for breakfast/brunch, service was good, atmosphere was nice, food was okay but nothing to write home about. Home made English muffins were a bit of a disappointment, more like bread, no nooks and cranies. My husband enjoyed his omelet but my breakfast sandwich...was not as good as an egg mcmuffin.More

Great experience! Welcoming staff, old town ambiance, and good food. Serves breakfast all day as well as lunch. I had Honey Oat Bran Pancakes and delicious bacon. My husband ordered a Sarafornia Cobb Salad that was full of turkey, bacon, hardboiled eggs, avocados, etc... We...heartily recommend this wonderful eatery.More

Stopped by for some cakes and coffee. All were baked fresh and very tasty. There is a very pleasant seating area at the rear.

Everytime I visit Calistoga or St. Helena I make my companions eat breakfast at Cafe Sarafornia. It is consistently the best breakfast and the service is always friendly and fast. I am a vegetarian and love that I can get veggie sausage in my scrambles....The hash browns are my favorite hash browns ever. It is seriously so delicious with good prices and really generous servings. I love that the menu has remained almost the same for the past 10+ years. Comfort food at it's absolute best.More

We usually have breakfast when we visit this restaurant in Calistoga but had lunch this time. Split a Club and french fries with my husband. The french fries are always so good there. Generous & delicious sandwich. Great service, friendly staff, consistently good food and...nice to sit outside in October while the weather was beautiful.More

We visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning in late August. There is inside seating at tables or a counter and outside sidewalk dining at this cute little diner. It was a beautiful day and most people waiting wanted the outdoor dining, so we were...able to be seated immediately at a table inside. Our server, Loreen , was very busy, but super attentive. We enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and the chicken fried steak. The hashbrowns are awesome, although the scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked. The portions are huge, so we were fine with leaving the eggs and very happy we stopped in this diner for breakfast on a beautiful Sunday morning!More
