Old fashioned casual charm

From the decor to the waiter to the large portions of delicious homemade food, this restaurant had a reliable, well-traveled vibe without the bells and whistles of some trendier spots. Given the quality of the food, I would love to see some lace curtains in the windows and general rehab to better... read more

Fresh, delicious food. Attentive wait staff who gave us great wine recommendations. When in Calistoga, we always make our way to this restaurant.

We dined here on New Years eve and the food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. There were four in our party and two chose the chicken and two chose the halibut. All meals were cooked to perfection. We will return!

I love this place. I have eaten here often alone and also with friends when I've been in Calistoga. It's my favorite place to eat in town. I like the quiet atmosphere and the menu. There is always a great wine from an obscure (to me) winery, and I love their salads and soups. I'm in a rut, and I... More

We went here for lunch and were disappointed with the quality of food served for the price. Also the atmosphere was not appealing with all the flies buzzing around . Great menu selection but portions were small and flavor was lacking. Service was pleasant but lacking and bland. Wine selection for the area was average considering the menu choices.

A friend and I decided upon this spot for a late lunch after looking at several menus in town, and while the restaurant was only half full we were seated at the worst table available, by a waiter who barely acknowledged us. After several minutes of being jammed next to a large support post at a tiny table for two... More

We stopped in for a late lunch, and he quickly seated us by a lovely window. My wife ordered a salad (pears, goat cheese, toasted almonds, pear vinaigrette) and he said it was "small", did she want them to make it larger? She said no, and when it arrived, it was very filling and delicious! I ordered the special BBQ... More

This was our first visit to Calistoga, and we found this restaurant from Yelp reviews. We were there on a Thursday evening in April for dinner, and it wasn't crowded, we didn't have to wait for a table. Service was great. Although the wine we wanted to try wasn't available, they gave us some suggestions on alternative (we are not... More

Delicious food! The price was right and the staff was pretty good. I had a burger, which was messy but delicious, and my wife had a really tasty lobster soup. Service was a bit on the slow side, but this is definitely the spot to grab lunch or dinner in Calistoga.
