The Calistoga Inn Restaurant has one of the most popular outdoor dining venues in the Napa Valley. Its patio stretches along the Napa River and its award winning micro-brewery - Napa Valley Brewing Company - occupies the historic water tower. There is a small outside bar, adjacent to the Beer Garden, which offers a casual setting with cedar planked picnic tables and can also be reserved for private events, such as wedding rehearsal dinners. Our new Inside/Outside Bar is a great spot to watch the world go by as locals and tourists alike mill about downtown Calistoga. The inside dining rooms offer a vintage Napa Valley atmosphere and look out to the garden patio. The pub offers a vibrant late

We had a group of 12 ordering out so we could eat outside "together." No only did they get our huge order correct and at the time we asked for it, but it all tasted amazing! Our group ordered the salmon, the skirt steak, short...ribs, the pork chop, the paella, crab cakes - all of it was YUM! Even the sides of risotto, broccolini and brussel sprouts were delicious. I would go back anytime.More

Calistoga Inn has the best environment for a meal with a date, friend, family or solo. The menu and food is very good, the bar is excellent not to mention their own craft beers. The staff and service is excellent. It feels more like a...club, you can enjoy an afternoon or evening and relax without feeling like you need to leave immediately after your meal or beverages. The menu is a level above 'pub' style with delicious dishes and nice presentation. You will not be disappointed since they always have a great selection daily.More

The food and atmosphere were really good here. On the night we ate, a steel drum band was performing, which made for a fun evening. The food was good, but the service was just OK. A pet-peeve item of mine was experienced: the bottle of...wine brought to us was not the vintage we ordered. This happens too much these days and seems to be more than just an oversight. But, what annoys me is when the server doesn't acknowledge it as a problem and acts like "what's the difference?" Other than that, all good.More

Our small couples weekend outing enjoyed our first night of dining in Calistoga at this restaurant. Our group had the Oysters, Crab Cakes, Wedge Salad, Pasta Avocado, and Prosciutto Pizza. Everything was very tasty all around!! We also sampled their beer selection which was mostly...IPAs and Pilsners and was perfect to enjoy on the patio during a warm summer evening. We came during the time of covid and the fires but the restaurant and staff all practiced safety first and made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable for us all. Definitely give this place a visit if you are looking to dine out in Calistoga. It was a great find for us!More

This is a big restaurant with lots of tables, including a creek-side patio for when the weather is good. We arrived with a reservation and were promptly seated. The table had just been cleared so plates and utensils were brought. We chose some wine and...salads to start and both arrived super-quick. Some fresh bread arrived as an accompaniment. The menu is extensive with lots of choices from meat to fish to risotto. The wait for our entrees was quite long. The food, when it arrived, was excellent. But we waited again for a refresh on our beverages. We had several different servers during the evening so there was not much continuity. Overall a good meal but this in a community of great restaurants so the standard is set pretty high. I returned on another afternoon and again have high praise for the food. The crab cakes were an elegant concoction of sweet crab meat (no fillers of bread crumbs) and a tangy, slightly hot remoulade sauce and crunchy slaw. But I have to say that the hostess was not too happy about seating a single person at a nice table on the patio.More

They're just so good. Bartender on July 23 is our vote for Most Impressive Calistoga Ambassador. He waited on us, delivered our drinks and kept checking back - and very fun to watch building his creations! My crab cakes were so ample that I enjoyed...my take-home poolside the next day. Excellent food, lovely ambiance and impressive COVID-safety practices.More

The Calistoga Inn has a large patio with plenty of seating. Located right on Lincoln Avenue/Highway 29, its a perfect spot to start your day before heading for Silverado Trail or south on Highway 29. Service was very pleasant and efficient. Our lunch was great....We split a sandwich and salad. The Turkey and Brie sandwich was great, fries were hot and crispy and the salad was fresh and tasty. Water (and Diet Coke) was refilled regularly. For beer, I went with their Pale Ale. It was fresh, slightly bitter and citrusy....perfect for a warm day on the patio.More

I had a late lunch for my birthday on July 8th. The ambiance and service are really nice but the food, not so much. I had the crispy garlic calamari which was bland, not so crispy and sub par. My husband had the pesto pizza-same...thing. Thin crust but not crispy and very bland. We have gone there over the years when in Calistoga but probably won't go back.More

Don't recall seeing a pool. But the scenery is beautiful. There is a place down the road that has hot springs though.
