We meet friends in Malibu every summer for a few days. With 6 kids between the two couples, we are always looking for good food in a family friendly setting. The food at Fish House has been awesome in the past but this year was "off". I also noticed the portions were extremely small. We really love the location so... More

Kings has been around awhile and offers up a solid lineup of seafood and even sushi rolls. The Bar is my personal favorite for happy hour -good affordable apps and beer. But my tip is for those wine people out there who like to bring their own good bottles of wine( their wine list is pretty blah). The best thing... More

This may seem weird, but this place has a great hamburger. I am not a seafood person, but my coworkers wanted to go here so I went along. The restaurant is very nice, good décor, we sat outside which was very nice, beautiful evening in December. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to everyone ordering their food. He had... More

We enjoyed dinner here, and had a hard time choosing from the extensive seafood menu! My husband had Scallops and Shrimp, and he said they were the best he'd ever had, fresh and juicy. I ordered the Ono (Wahoo) fish, which was also amazing. You can choose two sides from a long list -- try the fresh corn "off" the... More

Kings suffers due to its own popularity. When it opened, it was the best fish place around. But as the menu became more and more standardized and limited..and they really focused on the high end items like oysters, it's lost it's specialness. The fish is still good (not great). But the portions are smaller, the fries were cold...it feels now... More

Did a girl's lunch there and it was yummy. Delicious warm bread, drinks never went dry and the service was fantastic. One member of our group liked my salad and had ordered a different one that had already arrived at our table, they had no problem taking it away and getting her the salad I had which was very good.... This place is the best for seafood — I love it. I haven't had a bad meal here, and the service is great. They have a lovely back patio, too, where you can soak up the soothing vibe of Calabasas while you dine. Even the martinis are great.

Our experience was excellent. This is a chain restaurant, but the staff cares about what they are doing, as it shows in their service. The menu covers the gambit from fish to shellfish to meat. We enjoyed the small dishes, and their very nice selection of wines.
