We like good sushi. We crave great sushi. We've tried places all over LA, the Westside, the Valley and downtown and nothing - not Nobu, not Matsuhisa, not anywhere beats Shibuya. If you are a sushi lover you should watch the movie "Jiro Dreams of Sushi." Then when you realize you can't pop over to Tokyo and wait six months... More

I love the sushi here. The restaurant is very small but the sushi is always fresh and delicious. Long wait but totally worth it.

I love this place. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. I especially love the Spicy Tuna on Rice Cake and albacore sushi.

There are plenty of sushi options in the land of the Kardashians. This is hands down the best. Everything, and I mean Everything, is top notch in quality and service is great. There are two big problems here-it's so popular it's touch to get a spot at dinner, and the place is small. But don't let those obstacles slow you... More

I love this place! Parking can be a little bit tricky and tight but it always seems to work out. Expect to wait because it is a small sushi bar and I can assure you the wait is well worth it. The quality of the fish has always been fresh and delicious... The prices have gone up so expect to... More

sweet shrimp sushi and its head is deep fried really super. Spanish mackerel is so fresh calamari salad, others don't compare.

From New York to Hawaii, this was absolutely some of the best sashimi and sushi I have ever had. Freshest and of the highest quality. We had toro, hamachi belly, alborcore sashimi along with stuffed squid appetizer, spicy scallop and salmon sushi. Each was better than the last. I was expecting a bill that was 3 times what it was...I... More

This is a small place. There is always a wait. But we'll worth it. The fish is so fresh. It all melts in your mouth. The sushi chef are great and a lot of fun.

As many reviewers have written, this is a sushi place in its own category. I live in NYC and there is nothing like it, except perhaps nobu. But that's a scene...this is a tiny non description simple spot. Have been going for years since my father discovered and it's only more difficult to get in now. In fact we couldn't... More

The best quality Sushi. Never had a bad experience here. The staff and chefs are friendly and love to suggest new rolls. The seating here is limited. So come early, especially for lunch, or be prepared to wait. However, the food is worth the wait.

Thank Jeremy M
