Granted we went on Mother's Day for brunch. My son and daughter in law's pick. We ate in the patio. It was a chilly day, they did have the heaters going but they never could get them just right. The menu was limited, which we expected....More

This is a cool iconic place. It's steeped in history and there are legends of ghosts inhabiting it, which is kind of interesting fodder for conversation. The food is good, the staff are always friendly and accommodating and it's never too crowded. The seats are...More

This spot is back in mountains of Calabasas and has been a restaurant for past 35 years converted from a Hunting Lodge. Lots of wood, stuffed animals hanging off walls, and old books. We went here for Dine LA menu. $49pp + $20 supplement for...More

The place is a long time staple, for exotic meats, and wonder atmosphere,. They even host weddings it's romantic for sure. It is a bit expensive, but treat yourself, I bet you will go back again and again, like I do.

This is a unique restaurant, even by US standards. Amazing food served in a very special 'lodge' environment by attentive staff. If you want a special night this is guaranteed to give you that.

This place is a lodge like building with animal heads. The menu is unusal with boar, emu and buffalo. The food is very good and presented well. The prices are high and service a bit on the slow side. Good for a special occasion.

Outstanding Sunday Brunch. Great variety. You must try the Chef's basket, it's excellent and always fresh and hot, right out of the oven. So good. Service was good although we did get a Cobb Salad which contained corn when we specifically asked if the salad...More

This is a restaurant we have enjoyed many times over the years. Unfortunately based on our most recent visit it's not what it once was. It's interior seems like it hasn't been updated in years and the food was marginal at best. From my seat...More

Vietnamese Pork Belly=a must have. Perfectly cooked with a great amount of heat. Octopus starter was great, and I don't even like octopus. The main course/trio? Buffalo short ribs were falling off the bone and delicious. The Elk was absolutely amazing. The Emu? Well, I'm...More

The price depend on the number of courses. With a shared appetizer, venison and coffee was about $70, not including wine and tips.
