I had visited Villa Toscania few years ago and I was amazed with quality of food.
When I visited it again in May 2024... I have mixed feelings. For sure it is not the same restaurant. High prices, small portions, quality ok (but not the perfect as is was before)

Hidden in a small village, surrounded by forest, you will find the best place to taste Italian food. Managed by Italian Chef, the place offers the top quality and taste of Italy;
starters, soups, main dishes, all made with care, using best products. Mostly it is needed to book the table in advance, as it is visited by many happy clients.

This restaurant was one of the places Mdm Gessler has been working on. Even if Magda is not really a cook, I do enjoy food and setups in her Warsaw restaurants.
So I neede to check this one as well.
Setting and surroundings are nice. Really nice. Menu is a bit limited and wine list is poor. Price-wise it is ok.
But there’s something I hate.
When eating in good Italian restaurants I always take Vitello Tonnato for a starter. Kind of benchmark, which helps me to understand where I am.
This was the first restaurant ever (had maybe 500* Italian restaurants before), which served pork loin as a veal in Vitello tonnato. Obviously expectations were not that high after the starter.
Food is good, thou’. And like mentioned earlier it is affordable.
But I am not going second time to a restaurant, which is serving me pork as veal.

Rooms are spacy but rather basic
Furniture weared as well as old TVset
Bathroom nothing special
Towels old
On plus good family Italian atmosphere
Fantastic quiet environment outside

Pretty good on the whole. The starters were particularly good as was the service.
However they could do with a better wine selection rather than an either/or choice.
We live quite locally and will definitely return.

Among all 10 different meals I have tasted in Villa Toscania I must say I fell in love with both Ravioli verdi and Filetto alla griglia con rucola. My family really enjoyed their meals too, however desserts weren't good enough. Service was perfect until some 'girl in sparling shoes came'. She was known from a TV show as a ridiculous person and we felt that nothing has been changed. She was acting so chaotic...
Anyway it's a 5-star food.

I had a pleasure to eat a business lunch over there at the beginning of June while it was outside 32 C degrees in shadow. Maybe that's why I had sometimes a feeling that I am in Italy, not Poland. The property could be located somewhere in Toscania landscape and it could suit.
It seems charming place even I had no time to discover it all.
Restaurant is also nice. Service was ok, tomato soup was great. Main dish ravioli was ok but nothing special.
If you are on the way it can be good idea to stop there.
Prices a little bit too high, probably after Magda Gessler's revolution.
