A trip to Burlingame Ave. is no complete without visiting one of the venerable dining establishments. Copenhagen is quintessential "The Avenue", as it gets. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Serving great lunches & breakfasts as well as baked goods such as a variety of pastries, cookies, & breads. If you are in the area you will soon become a local here too, you order and pay in advance then take your tray to your table while picking out your coffee along the way like clockwork. After the first visit... More

The lunch and dinner items are nothing special and definitely overpriced given blandness. The only reason to go here is to try one of the pastries with a cup of coffee. Not the best pastries - but hard to find any European pastries - so give it a go.

But you can eat here too...but everything I got...I got to go. Croissants, chocolate croissants, baguettes, you name it, I am a bread FREAK and I went here over several days and always bought multiple items...all tops.

We went for breakfast twice on a visit to Burlingame. Both times we had the huevos rancheros. Our niece had the "pancakes" really crepes with fresh strawberries. The huevos rancheros had wonderfully cooked beans and the flavors remained separate. I thought this was important since we went to another supposed great breakfast place close by that had huevos rancheros with... More

I've either eaten or shopped at Copenhagen Bakery numerous time and really love everything about them. It's all fresh and they really know what they are doing in the kitchen as everything is delicious. I'd highly recommend it!!

Going to the Copenhagen is like going to the candy store...for pastries and baked goods. Custom cakes, sweet treats, breads (they will slice it for you). And that's just one side. For great food, eat-in or take-out, you can't beat Copenhagen's restaurant. Excellent selection, good portions, always done just right and by friendly staff. The Tuna Melt is sensational. And... Very good place to start the day with a awesome breakfast. You get there different types of coffee and can take how much you want. The food is delicious and for a reasonable price. Please try the cake and you will love it! We will comeback next time.
