We celebrated our 45th anniversary with a wonderful evening on the Avenue. Our table gave us a view of the people on the street and our servers did a great job of pacing in our meal. We brought a 1975 Bordeaux to celebrate the event....Our server gave us control of when we wanted our dishes - so we had plenty of time to enjoy our special evening. Food quality is very good and prices are fair.More

The food selections are very authentic Italian from the gnocchi to the housemade meatballs (can be combined with pasta) to the rigatoni to the seafood offerings to the , the rigatoni rustica, the pollo (chicken breast) involtini, anything with the fabulous fresh mozzarella, and the...secret sauce served with the housemade bread. The prices are very moderate, and the service is very attentive,More

We enjoyed several entrees here and all of them were delicious and plentiful. The service was spot on, the atmosphere was perfect, and the prices were reasonable. It truly was the best pasta I ever had.

Nice ambiance, service is pretty good and their pasta are good as well. It can get quite loud when the place is fully booked. Price is reasonable and portions are pretty good.

We came to celebrate the departure of our daughter to graduate school in Michigan. WHAT A FANTASTIC FANTASTIC MEAL we all had. The host/owner, Elio was always around and mingling with the guests. He introduced himself and spoke Italian to us. We ordered cocktails and...then our appetizers, calamari fritti and the Bruschetta pomodoro; the calamari was lightly fried and cooked to perfection and the bruschetta had the right amount of toppings. We had the Gamberoni al Limone and the Ravioli con Riccota. Both main courses were amazing. Both had the ideal flavors of how these dishes should be. We also ordered desert, the Tiramisu and the Lava Cake. Thank you Elio and please thank and commend our waitress, which I didn’t get her name, for her attention to our table and professionalism. Think of a favorite Italian dish. Create a buzzy atmosphere and a staff ready to make it happen and then you know you’ve arrived at this hot spot in Burlingame. I suggest a reservation.

This suburb is fantastic! This restaurant is amazing! Started off with drinks at the bar and some appetisers - bruschetta, calamari and meatballs. The meatballs are just like Nonna would make - and the tomato sauce is beautiful. You can bring your own wine which...is a bonus. We sat at the table right at the back of the restaurant so we could chat and hear each other. The restaurant was packed when we left ( which is a good sign). Homemade pasta and beautiful mains. The waiter here was great. It’s like we were at a restaurant run by an Italian boss! Would highly recommend this place. Whatever you order will be great. Atmosphere and food is top notch.More

We met friends here, it was packed. The food was excellent, especially the pizza. The crust was perfect. The staff was friendly and there were families, couples, groups....it was definitely a popular place.

Ravioli ricotta e spinaci (goat cheese and spinach) were prepared with tomato sauce instead of melted butter and possibly sage leaves. Parmigiana (eggpant, tomato and parisan) was way too salty. Wine pretty mediocre.

We celebrated our granddaughter's B-day. It was for us family dinner. We enjoyed appetizers-Caponatina Siciliana (4 pieces a portion), so we ordered 3; Caprese -fresh, great mozzarella (also 4 pieces), it was so tasty that ordered 5 of them for 12 people; also we ordered...Calamaretti Alla Griglia-grilled calamari-average like in other restaurants. For main course -kids ordered Pizza; adults ordered Scaloppine Al Marsala; chicken breast with herbs; risotto-all were tasty. Desserts -tiramisu, vanila gello, pannacota -house made sweetened cream -you can buy in Trader Joe's tastier and better quality. The tea was served in unprofessional manner-tea bags were opened by waitress and put in your half empty, barely warm water.More
