I have eaten at a few Benihana's and this one didn't let me down. Food was excellent at a price that I expected

We've been going to the Benihana restaurant in Burlingame for over 10 years and the last visit seems to be special. There were a lot more staff present, there was a sense of organization, food was very good, and things seem to to run very smoothly. It appears that there is a sense of urgency to make the customer feel... More
Took a group here for graduation. The kids were excited and enjoyed the show. I noticed there wasn't any flipping of knives and a lot less "show" than there used to be. Not too surprised as I can imagine after an injury or two they had to cut back. The food itself is "ok" all being cooked in the same... More
This was worth the wait, I have been meaning to go this this place for a very long time ever since I used to live here many years ago. The different types of people was amazing, don't judge, the show our chef put on was great and a lot of fun, the food was very good and the best thing... More
There were four of us celebrating a belated birthday dinner on a Saturday evening. We had reservations, which are strongly recommended, and we were seated promptly, even though we arrived early. Our chef, was a Hispanic male, from Mexico, who although he delivered our meals as requested, was a little less entertaining than what we normally expect and recieve. But... More
It's filthy, I mean disgustingly filthy. You feel like you need a hot shower when you leave. I took a business guest to the sushi bar which, when I last dined there one year ago, was better than the other Burlingame Sushi Spots, plus it's directly bayside. In fact I've been dining there since they opened but it was nothing... More

I am in Burlingame for work again, and since a colleague is with me, we decided to Uber down to Benihana for dinner. When the car pulled in, there was a line of cars that looked like an elementary school dismissal on a Friday afternoon. It turned out that they only had valet parking. Once we got in the door,... My family used to go to Burlingame Benihana for birthdays and special occassions years ago. I went last night with 9 friends for a birthday celebration. The food was delectable! The wait staff wonderful and the chef show AMAZING! I will be making this a go to place again with my family and friends for years to come.
Went here in a family group with ages ranging from 5 to 72, and everyone enjoyed it. A bit of sticker shock when we saw the menu, but it turned out to be a real bargain because all of the ingredients (primarily prawns, scallops beef, and chicken) were fresh and of high quality. The waiters were friendly, and the kids... More
I was surprised at how popular this place is , even for a Tuesday night. The food is of good quality and it is prepared with a flourish. Watch your cook for the doneness of your food, I had to ask him to take it off to get it cooked a bit less done.
