About
Dear friends, My name is Omid, and I, along with my wife Susan, are the owners of Rise Pizzeria. We both happen to be crazy about people and pizza. We are thrilled to finally realize our dream of opening Rise Pizzeria and to join the Burlingame community. We have had this dream for a very long time so seeing it come to life has been an amazing process for us. Rise Pizzeria was born out of our passion for great people and amazing pizza. We have taken many measures to ensure our restaurant and food stay true to our vision and mission. We hope our passion comes through when you visit us at Rise. All of us at Rise Pizzeria are looking forward to bringing our passion for people and pizza to Burlingame Avenue and joining the great shops of Downtown. We hope to see you soon. We (4couples) had salads and pizzas for dinner. The dining space is large and very clean. Our order of three different pizzas and selected salads were well prepared served at a nice pace. The Avenue is always busy at night so parking is a premium. We had a pepperoni/ arugula and ham/ and a vegetarian which all had a wonderful crust and cheese base. Prices are typical for the area as there is plenty of competition for pizza in walking distance. Very enjoyable gathering.😀🍷

Excellent chicken wings/buffalo wings with just the right amount of spice and flavors. Great thin crust pizza with chunk of cheeses and other ingredients of your choices made right in front of you. The size are smaller than other pizzerias. So you may want to order one extra pizza to be sure. The semi open-air setup is very inviting and ultra modern. I had the takeout order made ready in very short amount of time. Will come back for dine in.

Great pizza and cheese appetizer and good service
We loved our appetizer-fresh tomatoes, basil, balsamic drizzle with a lovely soft cheese. The pizza was just right-my husband loves thin crust. Our server, whose name I forgot (Conner?) was very attentive and had a cool Irish accent. We would eat here again.

Wonderful pizza place in Burlingame….tasty stuffing and pizza dough is excellent. Servers very friendly and accommodating. Must try also the chicken wings, flavorful and moist 🤗

Ambience is good. Pizza is unique because is wood burn and ingredients is generous. The toilet is super clean too . Keep it up 👍🏻

This place is the Bomb! They have happy hour pizza half price! Pizza is done baking in 5mins, fresh ingredients, delicious and hot from their oven. Sooo yummy🤤

This place rocks. The vibe and interior is super “On The Avenue”.
I don’t think you can find better pizza on the peninsula and then there is a bunch of other great foods plus good wines and beers.
No one will be disappointed!

You order your food and drink at the register and then sit down with your number. The salad I had was super fresh and the environment is relaxing. Less crowded than the other eateries on the street since it’s down near the end which I personally appreciated. A nice warm outside patio shaded from sun.

A bit strange for the ones not used to how to order but the pizza is great! The atmosphere is also very nice. Friendly staff. Located right in the action on Burlingame Ave.

Four of us stopped at Rise on a Sunday around 2pm for lunch. We hit their Happy Hour.. which ends up making everything quite affordable and a much better value.
This is a fairly new place in a location that has had many previous establishments. They did a complete overhaul of the space. It’s open, airy, modern and includes indoor and covered outdoor seating.
You walk in, and place your order and pay. Take your number stand and go find seating. They bring your food to you when it’s ready. I really appreciated their handy serve yourself water etc..
We started with their meatball on toast appetizer. Two large meatballs, lots of tomato sauce and some nicely toasted dried bread to eat it on. We split this 4 ways and it was enjoyed by all.
We then had two pizzas arrive. Their margarita and double pepperoni’s. This is thin crust artisan style pizza. Both were good. And their reasonably sized medium pizzas. Plenty of food for the four of us.
We also shared a salad and a side of Brussel sprouts.
Food was good, good value during happy hour. The space is open and airy. Can get noisy when busy.

With plenty of good pizza now on Burlingame Ave (including Delfina or BlueLine, depending on your style preferences), Rise stands out as the best pizza. Their dough is easy to digest, and the wood burning pizza ovens impart a wonderful flavor on the pizzas. If you want something other than pizza, then you're better off at one of the other restaurants, but if what you want is really good pizza, then Rise is the place.

Thank you for the compliments Nello. Yes we stick to pizza so we can do it at a level other places can't. Everything else compliments the main attractions which we have a lot of as well. None compete with the pizzas though. I would say our Burrata dishes is up there as well.

The ordering as you enter and then getting the food is little awkward, but the items on display before ordering make it easy choices.
Choice of wine makes it marginal.
The pizza, and we had three types were all very good. The olive dish and the salad are a must.
A new category of pizzeria. Excellent outside seating as well.
