Try the curry!!! This is a great little local place with authentic Burmese fare. It's always busy so don't mind a little wait; it's worh it.

We stopped for lunch after an already long day traveling. We left refreshed and ready for the rest of the day. The food is carefully prepared and very tasty. Since we were a party of four, we ordered several regular size entrees and shared. Every dish was excellent and served graciously.

The food here is excellent and the prices reasonable. Usually I stick to my favourite dishes when I eat out, but here I will pick anything from the menu at it is delicious. Do not let the line scare you away, it clears up really quickly. The downside is that this is not a place you sit for hours while... More

If you are looking for authentic Burmese cuisine, Mingalaba is the place to go. It has limited seating and fills up quickly, so better be there early during lunch and dinner times.

Still the best for Burmese cuisine in Burlingame. Very busy restaurant for lunch but did not disappoint.

You have to try this restaurant. The food is fantastic. The place is too small for the business they do. Don't just walk in and think you're gonna eat, make reservations! And it is worth the wait, if you have to. Tea leaf salad, mango salad, mango drink...

Visited family in the area, and I wanted to try Burmese food. We ordered a variety of items for takeout, and they were all pretty good. Tea leaf salad was unusual, very crunchy and tasted good. Pumpkin yellow chicken had a lot of flavor, as did the house special noodles. I would get either of them again. For a vegetable,... More

Lunch specials are more expensive then Ala Carte menu since they combine entrée with a small salad. Unless you want the salad, I recommend select your entrée from regular menu. Please be aware that rice or other staples are charged separately. This place is very busy for lunch. We asked for chilli sauce at beginning of the meal and reminded... More

Tried their vegetarian fares - Walnut Broccoli with Tofu and Veg. Shan Noodles - both good. Pricey, but good portions! Would recommend for the vegetarians out there!

Mingalaba is a busy Burmese restaurant on Burlingame Avenue. Their food is very good and not too expensive. Parking is generally available within a block or two. In addition Burlingame Avenue is a great shopping area. The service is prompt and pleasant.
