Mingalaba is local favorite for my husband and I and every meal is a treat. The restaurant is family owned so they take great pride in the quality of the food and service. Try the Tea Salad, Mango Salad, Paratha or dumplings - they are all fantastic. Choosing a man dish can be a challenge as the selection is all... More

The food is so delicious! The spices were just right, not overpowering like some Indian food I'v had in the past. And all of the family felt the same about their food. The staff - very warm and friendly, and knowledgable about all of the dishes! How refreshing! The one negative i found was that if you don't have a... More

This means something since there are actually 2 Burmese restaurants on Burlingame Ave (go figure). This place is great. Go early to avoid lines.

Mingalaba is a special restaurant. It is family owned, and the food is cooked to order. Dishes can be ordered from extra spicy to mild. The House Special noodles are a must.

A Burlingame treat for former city dwellers who had to move for schools, but miss their fix of walking down Clement Street in Inner Richmond or Irving Street in Inner Sunset and having block after block of amazing, fresh, delicious, global and cheap food options. If you are tired of overpriced mediocre Italian on the Avenue, give Mingalaba a try.... More

Try the curry!!! This is a great little local place with authentic Burmese fare. It's always busy so don't mind a little wait; it's worh it.

We stopped for lunch after an already long day traveling. We left refreshed and ready for the rest of the day. The food is carefully prepared and very tasty. Since we were a party of four, we ordered several regular size entrees and shared. Every dish was excellent and served graciously.

The food here is excellent and the prices reasonable. Usually I stick to my favourite dishes when I eat out, but here I will pick anything from the menu at it is delicious. Do not let the line scare you away, it clears up really quickly. The downside is that this is not a place you sit for hours while... More

If you are looking for authentic Burmese cuisine, Mingalaba is the place to go. It has limited seating and fills up quickly, so better be there early during lunch and dinner times.

Still the best for Burmese cuisine in Burlingame. Very busy restaurant for lunch but did not disappoint.
