We went to this place because my sister lives in LA and this is her favorite bakery. We went on a weekday later in the morning so the line wasn't as long as usual. When we got there we needed time to figure out what we wanted. I can't have milk fat so I asked one of the workers what... More

Came in as I was craving something sweet, this place is so crowded. They had two lines but it goes fast. I picked a couple of things and quickly left. Delicious!!!

Being Cuban in LA this is the closet I get to real Cuban food. Not like Miami but close to it with the items served. My favorite sandwich is the medianoche .

All I can say is that everything we've ever purchased here is great! I work for a large company, so we are always ordering from here for special occasions. Highly recommend!

I had lunch here and The place was packed. My salad was good my guests had Panini's and everyone seemed happy. The best part about this place was just looking at all the incredible cakes and sweets and baked goods they had. I didn't indulge on this trip but my guests said that Portos makes the best cake for miles... More

This breakfast spot is small in size but LARGE in portion. Food was great. Try the Mexican coffee. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Portos is the best and worth the drive! We use them as business "Thank You's" for formal celebrations and informal family treats. Even if the line is long don't worry, they are so efficient that it moves fast. The cheese pastries are our favorite but the potato balls and empanadas are close behind. There is a lunch counter where Cuban... More

It's our must-visit place for my whole family every time we're in the Los Angeles area! We'll drive out of our way to visit the Berkeley location and load up on our favorites--cream cheese croissants, pineapple turnovers, coconut somethings, and chicken empanadas!!

This place is an institution. I was surprised at such a big place that is crawling with patrons that the food came out so fast. Everything we had was simply delicious. I really can't wait to come back here and sample some more of their yummy food!

Porto's is the Disneyland of bakeries. I have been getting cakes, breads, and sandwiches from Porto's since they were a small bakery in Glendale. They are in trendy locations now; but they still have great sandwiches and pastries with a Cuban flavor. Their cakes are more expensive; but they are far better than most from other bakeries also. No one... More
