My coworkers and I came here for lunch and were seated fairly quickly. Decor is beautiful, there is a great mural on the wall as you walk in. The service was good and the staff was polite (though I only got one refill on my drink). The poke bowl options are very good, you can choose from several proteins and... More

The sushi is so poor I do not know where to begin. I hope I don't get worms from eating there. I honestly do not know how they stay in business.

An unexpected entertaining experience at hidden treasure situated before everyone's eyes in downtown Burbank. It's chef, Tomo is a dynamic sushi artist who's creative genius, story telling & sense of humor is contagious and refreshing! The walls in this eccentric restaurant are littered with dollar bills autographed by customers with all kinds of salutations!! Sushi is DELICIOUS and are creative... More

I stopped in for dinner on Saturday. I grabbed a seat at the sushi bar, which was easy because no one else was at the sushi bar. I ordered a Kirin Light and checked off a few items on the order form. The beer could have been a bit colder, but it was ok. The Hamachi roll I ordered was... More

Sushi not bad but defently nothing special..really nothing special. It is "normal quality" but not at cheap price. Place is ok, staff is kind and nice but sushi is really nothing special for that price. I was disappointed that I discovered only after my order that they have some lunch set at affordable price...I don't know why they don't give... More

I just been staying in Burbank for few months now, after living in Asia for 7 years and considering it my real home I sometimes get a bit nostalgic for the far east, when that happens Tomo is one of two places I go, to me it really feels like the real thing. I sit at the bar and normally... More

I have been going to Tomo Sushi since the day he opened, and Tom the owner and chef is a good friend. His Sushi is fresh, Tom is always smiling and always remembers customers, I watch the faces of customers that come in with smiles on their faces. Place is small but does not bother me, I love his Sushi... More

I tried this place based on a recomendation from a local during a business trip to Burbank. The place is very small, and the ambieance is minimal. The walls are lined with numerous dollar bills decorated by patrons. The owner and head sushi chef seemed to know most people by first name. I ordered some Blue Fin Tuna sushi which... More

We needed a vegan friendly place for a late arriving partying and fortunately found Tomo. Very friendly and fast for our hungry group. Not too expensive and lots of selection. Great place and would definitely go back.
