Best and most wholesome Mexican food in the Valley. Always fresh and generous helpings. Room to sit and enjoy or take out. Love this place.

For a fast-casual Mexican restaurant, the food and service was outstanding. The chicken enchiladas were made from scratch while waiting; super fresh and tasty. Friendly staff that kept checking on you; very good and unusual for this type restaurant. Great salsas too.

One of the best "Authentic" Mexican Restaurants I've visited. And, the prices are very reasonable, but it's the food that's really good. Easy access from Highway 101, and a good place to get a Gas fill-up is in the same Shopping Center. Highly recommend Rudy's.

If you have time to wait and don't expect good service, it's a good place to eat. If you're in a hurry or with people who are impatient, go somewhere else. Food doesn't come out in an organized fashion - like the whole table won't be served at the same time - and the staff isn't very friendly or helpful... More

Small place so prepare to take out or wait for a table and we were not there at peak time. Have to order at a counter so if you don't review menu early that's a timely process. Chips are served at table but small salsa bar you get yourself. Had quesedilla and quality was fine the guacamole is good but... More

My husband and I arrived in Buellton around noon and wanted to spend the remainder of the day in the Santa Ynez Wine country but needed to eat lunch before that. We were pleased to find Rudy's which allowed us to order and pay at the counter so we were free to leave as soon as we finished eating. We... More

My wife and I go to Rudy's all the time for lunch and dinner. Great place. We have always found the food excellent and very consistent. The only drawback that we can take issue with is the service of food. The restaurant is not a sit down get waited on type of restaurant. What I mean by service is that... More

This Rudy's is either a hit or a miss depending on the staff and/or the time/day you're here. We've had great food here and we've had very mediocre. The burritos can be great. They do have a salsa bar complete with onions, cilantro, radishes, jalapeños and limes. If you're looking for ambiance, this isn't it, but you just might get... More

Got bean and cheese burritos with sour cream. Burritos came to the table and were massive. Bit into the burrito and it was a sour cream burrito with a little bit of beans. Thought maybe that this was just one bite, however, it was the entire burrito. Beans were a bit dry. Probably would not go back.

Expensive and the food was terrible. Ordered the Swiss Enchiladas and chicken was pre-processed. Chicken mole was bitter.
